I have to think we would. They do have a better D than anyone we have played, but their offense really wouldn't do much even against our defense. I think it would be close, similar to the GAME, but I would take us in a best of 10 series for sure.
I thought we could, but I'm not so sure now. Their D is really good, a lot better than I gave them credit for. All those defensive stands tonight close to the endzone really impressed me. They just may beat Bama, if that's who they end up playing. Which team led by a scumbag do you root for.
Honestly? No. Nor do I think we would be Alabama. Or Georgia. I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out this year. We'll probably have a top 5 recruiting class, we'll probably be ranked in the top 3 pre season next year. We'll also be the talk of the college football world in the off season. If Meyer works these kids hard over the next 8 months, I think next year we could take anyone. At no point this year do I think that we looked "dominant" on any aspect of our game. The good news is that Meyer is well aware of that, in my opinion. We made quite the statement this year. Ohio State is back and possibly better than ever.
On the fence with this one...I think they win the title this year. Could we beat them? I believe so. Would we beat them? Not So Sure. It is a shame that we will never get the chance to find out.

Probably not but definitely maybe. The same way I feel about most of the top 6 save Alabama.
Perhaps not with the way #5 has run the ball the past two weeks. After PSU I would have been a lot more confident. I still think we'd have a good shot though.

Yes they can. Prove me wrong..... Seriuosly tho If Pitt & tsun can hang with them then I see no reason why the Buckeyes wouldn't have a really good chance to win that game

I had written that we could not beat Alabama or Oregon.
I think we would have a 50-50 shot at N Dame
Based on the three games we played against common opponents, you have to think we'd have a solid shot. However 1) they seem more disciplined and less mistake-prone than we do; and 2) they obviously have a better defense than any team in the Big Ten. Allowing 32 points combined to USC, Michigan, and Oklahoma deserves respect.
Having said that, if it wasn't for the officials seeing pass interference in the Pitt game where there wasn't any, we'd be talking about the Buckeyes as the one and only undefeated team in the country.

yes absolutely... our coach is better than nd's. I dont think we have less talent than them, their defense is a little better, but i think our offense is substantially better
