Oregon by a lot, Oklahoma by a lot, Kansas State by a lot. Don't care enough about Mizzou and Cuse to even pick, especially since Mizzou is already up.
I realize I am stating the obvious but holy crap does Oregon look fast!! I'm not sure there is a team in the country than can keep up with them on offense. Can you imagine if OSU had that speed on offense with our defense?? Unstoppable.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
I'm not keeping tabs on KSU. What exactly is their problem? As for oregon, Standford's D is doing a good job of keeping them in check. The one TD they shot themselves in the foot by giving Oregon good field position.
Stanford has done this the past two years with Oregon. They play well in the 1st half only to get steamrolled in the 2nd. KSU has looked turrible against Baylor but they've at least made it 28-14.
Seems is the key word. My question is whether or not Baylor can win the 2nd half as well, or if KState will outdo them. Oregon is probably going to start revving up. Another note: West Virginia's tackling (or lack thereof) makes me feel a lot better out our's.
Are Oregon fans the most clueless in cfb? From my observations, Duck fans seem to cry the loudest about supposedly being shafted on officiating calls (or non-calls) at those moments when it was pretty obvious that the call was correct. They either don't care or are football-impaired. As bad as LSU or Bama fans can be, the volume of their booing decreases by half when a replay shows that a call that went against their team was actually correct. Not in Eugene.
Fido: I could live with that. I would enjoy watching them get embarassed on the big stage kinda like we did in 06. Although I don't think anyone in the top 5 would be able to beat Alabama in the NC.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
"Are Oregon fans the most clueless in cfb?"
@Run_Fido_Run
I don't like to cast aspersions, but honestly, 2/3rds of the Oregon fanbase are fair-weather, Nike and Chip Kelly hype products. If Chip Kelly leaves for the NFL (as many say he inevitably will), I'd be VERY surprised if the vast majority of that fanbase is still there in 5-10 years.
I've been very impressed with Stanford's defense. We'll see if they can keep it close. Their offense has sputtered since their touchdown drive though...as I write this, Stanford fumbled AGAIN. Ugh.
You can kill a fly with your slipper or a cannon. Either way, the fly dies. -Ramzy
And, just when Standford looks like they are doing well, they fumble the ball. This is surprisingly low scoring at this rate, they may not pass our game.
VHX: Aren't they saying that Johnny Football is going to be the front runner as a true frosh from aTm? This year is kind of weak, and Brax didn't help his case much tonight.
I think the weakest Heisman field ever still has to go to "the year Gino Torretta won." Because how could that have ever happened otherwise?
I like how Brent Musberger is talking about how "the SEC" is rooting for these undefeated teams to lose, rather than the fans of Alabama and Georgia. The notion that if one SEC team wins, they all win has been thoroughly bought into by the college football media.
Baylor has 50 on KSU, so much for a SECless national championship game. Oregon looks unimpressive as they are moving but no producing like Oregon usually does. KSU needs 5 TSS in the fourth to win it.
Manziel hasn't been consistent. He is having the best finish but he has not been consistent in big games. Actually Bama was the only big game he played well. His second halfs against LSU and Florida were not anywhere close to Heisman numbers
I really don't want to contemplate a world where we're one of the last 2 undefeated teams but have to sit and watch in January; or where Notre Dame plays some SEC team for the BCS marbles.
Nothing will make me happier than if the obnoxious bastards in South Bend knock the SEC off their perch in the NCG this year. I want maximum possible humiliation.
So, get ready to hear the michiganders crowing about how the only teams they've lost to this year are gonna be playing in the NCG. Oh, and Nebraska, the team we beat by 25.
So we basically missed out on a shot to WRECK Notre Dame in a Nat'l Champ Game. That's, by my count, 3 Titles now that Jim Tressel has cost us. #SorryNotSorry #Truth
I can't believe it. Of course it took ESPN less than 5 minutes to mention that the SEC is back in the title picture. Unfortunately, they are. Now, we either get more SEC dickriding, or Notre Dame winning the title. Screw you, NCAA.
@Bucksfan: I agree with #1. If Nebraska had trouble with us, I can't imagine what Oregon's O would do to them. Wisky might have more of a chance, but Oregon will be out for blood.
Run_Fido: Not in the Rose Bowl. Let them play the Little Cesars bowl or the Outback Bowl. As Triv pointed out above, Standford is probably going to play the winner of the Wisky/Nebraska CCG.
I don't know. My SEC hate runs much deeper than hoping the SEC NC streak is interupted for 1-2 years. In terms of the long war, another SEC rematch might not be so bad. It contributes to oversaturation of the eSECpn brand and begins to make even non-SEC-hater casual fans wretch. A back-to-back all-SEC CG is so absurd - especially this year - that maybe it becomes a "careful what you wish for" scenario for SEC power brokers. Hell, if the SEC front office is smart, they'll lobby the pollsters to ensure that only one SEC team gets into the NCG. But they won't, and redneck pride kills.
Yup, Stanford is in the driver's seat in the North, has to beat UCLA next week in order to force a rematch with UCLA in the Pac-12 title the following week (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If Stanford loses, and Oregon wins, Oregon wins the North.
@Bucksfan: Your totally right. The game next week means everything to Stanford, but nothing really to UCLA because they're already in either way. Though for the Pac-12, doesn't the team with the better record get to play the CCG on their homefield? So I guess UCLA does have something to play for.
Oregon by a lot, Oklahoma by a lot, Kansas State by a lot. Don't care enough about Mizzou and Cuse to even pick, especially since Mizzou is already up.
EDIT: Welp. I guess I'm dumb.
Ladybuck, fancy seeing you here. I hope you had a GOOOOOD day!
Why hello Bucksfan, I'm doing quite well as both the basketball and football teams won. Oregon already has a first down, btw.
Woohoo!!! OU-WVU is living up to its no-defense hype. 23-10 w/ 5 min left in the 2nd.
Wow, that was an impressive play.
Edit: Granted, Standfords D is showing up.
My god, Standford's O is looking Oregon-esque. this is going to be a shootout.
Some good games right now. Oregon could go crazy still, but they refuse to take free points so they'll keep Stanford in the game for a while.
They are scoreless right now, and it's the second quarter. It's almost like not watching an Oregon game.
Stanford shutting oregons offence down in the first. 7 to 0 stanford. First time oregon has not scored in first quater this year.
Buckeye_For_Life
It seems like Oregon has their mojo back as they scored a quick touch down.
Oregon and KSU are losing. A possible SEC/ND NC....
*slits wrist*
Nvm. Oregon scored
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
I think Oregon will eventually pull it out.
What's happening with KSU though? They look absolutely dead! Wow 28-7 Baylor-KSU now.
Oregon seizing momentum, KSU looks like they're finished though
Please no SEC in NC. Almost makes me want to root for Oregon.
I'm not keeping tabs on KSU. What exactly is their problem? As for oregon, Standford's D is doing a good job of keeping them in check. The one TD they shot themselves in the foot by giving Oregon good field position.
I'm rooting for all of the unbeatens the rest of the way (yes, even ND). Looks like KSU is already going to let me down tonight
Interception Oregon. They have an uncanny ability to get a lot of those.
And now Standford with an interception. My goodness.
Klein keeping this last second drive alive before the half.
Stanford has done this the past two years with Oregon. They play well in the 1st half only to get steamrolled in the 2nd. KSU has looked turrible against Baylor but they've at least made it 28-14.
Kansas State seems to be getting it together, back within 11 at the half
Seems is the key word. My question is whether or not Baylor can win the 2nd half as well, or if KState will outdo them. Oregon is probably going to start revving up. Another note: West Virginia's tackling (or lack thereof) makes me feel a lot better out our's.
As long as 2 of these teams stay unbeaten we won't have to see Alabama in the NC. Please, no SEC this year lol.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!

Meanwhile KSU's attempt at a comeback just collapsed
AnnArbor: but it also would be nice if an SEC team backed into the NCG, partly thanks to heavy eSECpn lobbying, and then got destroyed.
That was a weird call. Either way, 1st and 20 aeems like a challenge that Oregon would be able to tackle easily.
Oregon takes the lead thank god
Fido: I could live with that. I would enjoy watching them get embarassed on the big stage kinda like we did in 06. Although I don't think anyone in the top 5 would be able to beat Alabama in the NC.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
Stanford collapsing
@KR I agree. Oregon is gonna score; it's what they do. Especially since they got that fumble.
Kansas State is finding a way to hang around. I still like their chances, though they need to make defensive stops at some point.
Does West Virginia have a "bad" defense? They've held Oklahoma to 38 points, and it's their best effort in 2 months.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Oregon defense making some plays
Wow Oregon fans boo EVERYTHING
Oregon fans want a call on every play its pretty annoying

Stanford can't stop turning it over and Oregon just can't get anything going
WOW Baylor is starting to blow K. State out of this game.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
Standford keeps on almost getting some positive momentum, and then Oregon stops them, somehow, despite their horrible tackling.
Edit: Dear lord, Baylor is playing out of their mind and now have an interception.
Double Edit: With a touchdown. Unbelievable. The rout is on.
Kansas State is done. They last one week in their first time being ranked #1. Weakest Heisman field ever?
Manziel is gonna back into the Heisman. Gonna come down to him and Teo
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
VHX: Aren't they saying that Johnny Football is going to be the front runner as a true frosh from aTm? This year is kind of weak, and Brax didn't help his case much tonight.
Well, Oregon is playing the best front 7 in the country and they're still beating them.
Who would have thought that Oregon/Stanford would be almost identical to our game today

Pay It Forward!
TDs*
Pay It Forward!
National Championship matchup depends entirely on Oregon, there's no way ND is going to lose next week
EDIT: Meanwhile, Stanford threatening to potentially force overtime
Klein got the SI curse, showed up on this weeks cover and than tanks.
Pay It Forward!
West Virginia has now given up 50+ points 4 times this year. Remember when they were in the top 10? Lol.
This is a huge 4th down, and they get the 1st down. Standford is just trucking.
Looks like Johnny Football could be the first freshman to win the Heisman this year.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
Honestly, I hope Manziel wins it. Ignoring the fact that he's a freshman, he has been the most consistent performer, right?
That HAS to be a stanford TD, how can that not be a TD
eh nevermind didn't see he bobbled it like that
ND Oregon in the national championship as it looks now.
I agree with VHX7, Manziel has been very impressive. I hate to say this, but he is better than Braxton this year.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
That's a TD.
@AABuck As long as he doesn't win 3 years, I'm good. I'd like Braxton to win it next year.
Oh wow. That is a tough call. Oregon needs to speed their way to another TD or FG to win in regulation. This is looking like our game now.
yikes I don't see how you could use replay to overturn that one
Save me a seat on the Manziel bandwagon. I was sold last week.
I'll say this: there's no chance that an underdog playing on the road against the #1 team in the SEC ever gets the call Stanford just got.
Honestly, I hope Manziel wins it. Ignoring the fact that he's a freshman, he has been the most consistent performer, right?
If "most consistent" means "Heisman contender who has gone the longest time without losing," then sure.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Manziel hasn't been consistent. He is having the best finish but he has not been consistent in big games. Actually Bama was the only big game he played well. His second halfs against LSU and Florida were not anywhere close to Heisman numbers
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Don't look now, but if Oregon doesn't pick up this third down Stanford will have a chance to win in regulation
Whoa, total gift penalty on Stanford. That makes up for the false start they didn't call on the last Cardinal drive.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Really don't see PI there.
Don't understand why Oregon is still running the ball at this point. The pass game is there.
I really don't want to contemplate a world where we're one of the last 2 undefeated teams but have to sit and watch in January; or where Notre Dame plays some SEC team for the BCS marbles.
So go Oregon, dammit.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
You know what? Screw this sport. They'll probably put Alabama #2 after this week.
if oregon loses, notre dame loses to usc and Bama beats Georgia where would that leave us? #2?
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
It looks like Stanford's defense must be stealing the genius Chip Kelly's offensive signals again, like in the 2010 Rose Bowl.
I swear to god Oregon, if you lose my f***ing head is going to explode
This boarder lining on a nightmare right now!
I cannot root for Oregon - they're coached by the genius Chip Kelly and have some of the biggest toolbag fans in the country.
I would LOVE to see Alabama destroy ND in the NC game lol.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
I never thought that Oregon would have a lower scoring game than us. It makes our slugfest with Wisky look a tad more respectable (kind of).
@Crusher: And if FSU beats Florida in that scenario we would have an Alabama/LSU championship game. And best case scenario would be Florida/Alabama.
Oregon has over 400 yards in offense. It's not like either team has been shut down. They're just finding ways to sabotage themselves.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Meanwhile, Kansas State just lost to Baylor. 52-24, and the fans rush the field.
Murphy is fast.
I wish nate williams was that fast, or large
All of my worst nightmares are coming true.
Kelly is stewing. "But, but . . . I'm an offensive mastermind!"
and that will probably do it for oregon
SEC vs. SEC in the national title if ND loses next week.
Alabama is right back in it. Bull$hit.
Unless they get an INT, which they could.
FUCK
I'm about to become a USC fan. For just one game. BCS chaos!
Mariota really had a bad game. There's a reason not too many freshmen QBs win national championships.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Those flourescent gloves don't exactly make Oregon's defenders look tough. They're kinda metro (to put it in PC terms).
I don't care if the sec wins the nc this year. It's our destiny to take it from them next year.
It sure does pay to play your tough games early. Omg
WOW. Oregon had its break and couldn't make it happen.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
So, what does it mean for CFB if Mariota wins the heisman.
And Standfords recovers their fumble.
I love seeing Oregon lose. I have a hatred for them for some reason.
I can't believe what I just saw. Slide and cover.
Nothing will make me happier than if the obnoxious bastards in South Bend knock the SEC off their perch in the NCG this year. I want maximum possible humiliation.
Couldn't care less about Bama/SEC. If Bucks are only undefeated team I will be happy.
They need a blocked punt or a missed FG (which he already missed on) to have a chance.
Yes! Ha ha Ducks!
YES! Screw Oregon!
Oregon will fall behind all the SEC teams.
This is the exact same scenario that got us in the national title game in 2007. Except...
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Wow. That was a roller coaster of a game.
New Hampshire Mafia, baby!
Time to revisit the Gene Smith non-firing again?
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Well, at least we'll bump up a few spots
Pure joy seeing those Oregon fans!
Duck fans are crying flourescent tears, which are mighty tasty.
I want to see scUM fans like that next week.
Can't believe Oregon and Kansas St both lost tonight
I dislike Oregon ... but I can't stand the SEC and it's freaking fans ... now we get the whole song and dance with them yet again ...
God I hate Oregon fans. Keep showing more of them, ESPN!
So, get ready to hear the michiganders crowing about how the only teams they've lost to this year are gonna be playing in the NCG. Oh, and Nebraska, the team we beat by 25.
Wow, 1 and 2 are pretenders. First time that has happended since 2007.
So we basically missed out on a shot to WRECK Notre Dame in a Nat'l Champ Game. That's, by my count, 3 Titles now that Jim Tressel has cost us. #SorryNotSorry #Truth
/ducks
Well, this was a fun night.
God forbid it comes down to ND vs an SEC team in the NCG...
ND v. 'Bama if they get their way. Frankly, I don't think I'm watching the MNC game this year... again...
Edit: That means that Oregon will be wrecking someone in the Big Ten. I hope it's scUM.
What happens if the Golden Domers lose?
@Right: Better or worse than 2 SEC teams, which will happen if ND loses.
@rdubs. I think I just threw up in my mouth!
1) I pity whoever goes to Pasadena out of our shitty conference.
2) Just postmark the crystal football to the south right now. The season's pretty much over.
Oregon could get left out of the rose bowl, Stanford now has the lead in that division right?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
LadyBucK: you don't want Oregon playing TTUN in the Rose Bowl. Check out the scenario needed for TTUN to get to the Rose Bowl.
I can't believe it. Of course it took ESPN less than 5 minutes to mention that the SEC is back in the title picture. Unfortunately, they are. Now, we either get more SEC dickriding, or Notre Dame winning the title. Screw you, NCAA.
Class of 2010.
@Bucksfan: I agree with #1. If Nebraska had trouble with us, I can't imagine what Oregon's O would do to them. Wisky might have more of a chance, but Oregon will be out for blood.
Well looks another National Championship game I will pass on.
You're right, Triv. Stanford is in the driver's seat in the Pac-12 North, though they do have a tough game at UCLA next.
Who wins the Heisman now? All the front runners had shitty games. Maybe Manti T'eo wins it?
F the Oregon kicker. Useless wanker.
