I get it, we haven't exactly been impressive in a few games this year. We've also struggled at Wisconsin and they've been getting better. But how are we 2.5 point underdogs against an unranked Wisconsin team that has struggled for most of the season and is missing their starting QB? I'll take that action any day of the week.

3 points is generally considered to be the homefield advantage, so I would look at it from the perspective that you take away homefield and we are the favorites.

Vegas only knows that Wisconsin at -2.5 will bring in 50% of the money on Wisconsin and 50% of the money on OSU.
Lines dont mean jack, I like it considering the Bucks have done horrid against the spread this year. Wasnt the Nebraska game's spread only a few points, as with Mich St. So I deff like our odds, as long as we dont have a slow start, and keep the special teams play near perfect.

Thank you, beat me to it. people read into the betting lines as PREDICTIONS, they are not.
That's not exactly true. They aren't "predictions" in the sense that Vegas is predicting an outcome. But they are essentially "predictions" as they believe that is the middle ground for what other people believe. Essentially, it's the prediction of median of the predictions of the voting public en masse.
Voting being those who are willing to bet on the game. I wonder if anyone has correlated a general fanbase poll to the line?
I never have and never will bet on the buckeyes, I almost want to, BUT I'm not going to be responsible for the jinx that led to a loss....
Still, I hope a lot of others make a bunch of money on that line when we dominate the fighting bielemas.

I hate the be the bearer of bad news but when 94% of the public is on one team, it is usually the best play to jump on board with the 6%.

Not that the stats mean anything.. because in all reality they really don't.. but what I'm getting at is I don't feel like Wisconsin is gonna be able to hang with Ohio State. They might have a great RB in Montee Ball, but I feel like they rely on him too much. They are very one-dimentional. Abberderis is a good WR, but I'm not so sure about their QB. Ohio State is gonna load the box and force their QB to beat us. And I don't think it'll happen.
Bielema won't outcoach Urban F. Meyer. I'm taking the Buckeyes. Chalk it up.

This is a scary game guys; Wisky is 10-0 at Camp Randall Stadium in games played in Nov since crying Bielema took over as coach in 2006. Even though Bielema is 1-5 against the Bucks
Michigan State's offense is pretty similar to Wisconsins, except Wisconsin doesn't have a real QB. OSU shut down Bell and should do the same with Ball. Also, Wisconsins defense is poorer & has slower LB's than MSU, which fits right into OSU's forte on offense.
I think OSU wins by at least 10.
