Since the Bucks can't go bowling, I'll be pulling for Coach Hazell and the Golden Flashes to sneak into the BCS bowls. Kent is currently ranked no. 17 in the BCS standings.
"The BCS rules state that a school not from a "guaranteed-bid" conference earns a spot in one of the BCS bowls if it finishes in the top 16, and is ahead of the top-ranked team from one of the "guaranteed-bid" conferences."
If Kent can sneak to number 16, they will probably finish ahead of the Big East champ and therefore be guaranteed a big payday, likely in the Orange Bowl.

Would be awesome, just wish they would have beaten Kentucky.... Really, Kentucky?
good luck to Coach Hazell & KSU ... I believe former Buckeye LB Marcus Freeman is an asst. coach there, too

Im going to take exception to the UK team Kent State played for one reason. Kentuckys starting QB got hurt after Kent game. Their QB threw for over 900 yds in first 3 games. They played the rest of the year with QB #3and 4 and the team went from 300 ypg to 100 ypg with these Freshmen QBs.
I think UK is equal to a Purdue or Indiana this year. Normally a bit better than both of those schools.
I'll be pulling for the Golden Flashes - who would have imagined 2 MAC teams ranked at the season's end! ...also hoping Rutgers narrowly beats Louisville. If Wisconsin beats Nebraska that would help as well, but I'd never wish for Brett B. to have success.

I don't want to see fathead and the Badgers in the Rose Bowl and lose for the third time in a row. I think Nebraska can fare well against UCLA or Stanford.
I don't think Kent will beat the ACC champ in the Orange Bowl, but it would be great for them and the MAC overall.
