There are rummors flying around middle Tenneessee that Tenn offered Gruden 5 years for 30 million.
His brother Jay would be offensive coordinator.
Raheem Morris would be defensive coordinator.

I'm pretty sure Jay Gruden isn't going to go from being an OC for an NFL team (and potentially a future head coach) to a college OC. Especially for Tenn.
Won't happen.

Hey you've picked up your grammar since your last thread...nice
Wherever you are, there you be!
There's a better chance that Tennessee is the next team to join the B1G than this actually happening as written.
You've got a better chance of being mauled by a polar bear and a grizzly while trolling on an Ohio State site, than you do of seeing Gruden coaching there.

I've definitely heard Gruden's name kicked around for the Tennessee job, as he's mentioned before that the only place he'd coach in college is the SEC. That said, I really don't think Jay or Raheem will be taking the downgrade to join him in Knoxville, and the type of money needed to bring him there is a bit steep. John's got a nice gig sitting in his easy chair and making quirky comments about the guys running around the field already.

Every single time there is a coaching vacancy, Gruden's name comes up. It's old hat by now.
On a related topic, I've been checking out Testudo Times a little since Monday. There's been a couple commentors there advocating Tressel as a replacement for Edsell.

Is this kind of like when Jim Harbaugh, and subsequently Les Miles, were going to be the next coach at Michigan? Haha. Sounds like wishful thinking to me!
The reason I posted this if Tenn does get Gruden. We have a slim chance of getting bell.
Why would Gruden go to Tennessee when Texas is offering coaches 10 year - 100 million dollar contracts?
