I just saw a tweet that said John Simon is a game time decision with an unspecified injury. Obviously, he's going to play in The Game but can anyone elaborate on this?

Explain to me what can be gained by saying your senior D-Lineman may not play in The Game? Is AACC celebrating right now, then when Simon takes the field, they'll be distraught?

Recently (s)he had ~200 ... I don't get why they flipped into troll mode all of a sudden. I guess that is why we have a voting system though. At some point they won't be posting any longer.
I remember that as well. (S)He dropped now 300 stickers in the span of only a week or two. I don't understand why.
Look through his posts. He insulted someone's dead relative, was a general UM sympathizer, and made people question his identity as a buckeye fan. This makes people upset, and the mob wanted blood.

I think Simon will play because its The Game and his final game as a Buckeye, but if he doesn't it could be Noah Spence's coming out party. I think he's too fast for just about any OT in college football.
Needs to work on his technique. I watch him and although he does get good pressure on the QB, he isn't quite getting there. For a true freshman you have to laugh and think about the future because the physical attributes are elite.
He needs to build size a bit too. He's still a fairly small guy, which works fine in HS, but he gets manhandled if he can't beat the OT with pure speed
Theres no way Simon won't play tomorrow. He is a tank and it's his final game as a Buckeye.
N.Spence is good, with the potential to be great, but right now whenever the OL is able to get their hands on him he is pretty much stuck, I've seen him have a hard time getting off blocks.

I have to imagine its something pretty severe if he's kept out. Like his arm fell off. Literally. Like somewhere in a building on campus there is literally one of John Simon's arms just hanging out.
I'm sure I'll get heat for saying anything about John Simon, but if he can't play his last game as a Buckeye, I'd almost see an OSU win as a little bittersweet if he can't be out there.
I really hope he's good enough to go. Much like Michigan having a banged up Denard, The Game is at its best when each teams participants are %100 (or as close to it at the end of a seaon).

I thought he came up a little lame toward the end of the Wisconsin game. Another lineman literally picked him to his feet when he seemed unable to get up. He did play after that most likely out of sheer will.
I didn't see he with the rest of the seniors last night at the basketball game. This would be a huge blow.
Just heard guys talking on the radio. He's got a knee swelling issue. He wasn't with the other seniors at the basketball game. Sad for him. Very tough for the team.
I saw what looked like swelling on his knee during the Wisconsin game. I caught a glimpse of it I think in the third quarter. Maybe a popped bursa sack or something. I was surprised the cameras never realty showed a close up during the game.

I would feel really sad for Simon if he couldn't play. Wanting to win The Game as a fan is fine and well, but this kid came here to win a title, he's been through hell and today is his de facto championship game. If he can't go, I can't imagine how heartbroken he'll be. The dude deserves to be in this game wreaking havoc, and walking off the field for the last time with 105,000 giving him the proper send off. I hope to hell he gets to play, and there are some ugly winged heads he gets to rip off.
If Simmon can't play who replaced him in the lineup.

Its 9:19 am and Michigan STILL sucks!
This sucks. Not because of what it does to our defense - but because this kid deserves to play this particular game more than any current Buckeye that I can think of. I'll be really bummed if he can't play. I like what Buck-I.8 said but that sad truth is that there are injuries that keep you from playing despite the most determined of determination. I'll be hoping he can get out there as I was looking forward to what he would bring to this game all year long.

John Simon's leadership and example have set the bar high for all future Buckeye defenders. I was truly sorry this great Buckeye was unable to play today but do believe his spirit and inspiration was all over the field and especially so in the second half. Go Bucks!
