Anyone got any more information on if the jerseys will be sold to the public? I really loved the design of them and want this one to be my last one for several years. I have been searching online for any places (Buckeye Corner, Buckeye Room, the Official Team Shop) and none seem to be showing anything about the actual jerseys. Can someone help me with this?

It may have been easier to just reply there. Here's your answer: they aren't for sale now and it's unclear whether or not if/when they will go on sale.
I'm not a jersey guy, but for Nike or OSU or whoever to not release them for public consumption is dumb. When has Nike or OSU ever missed an opportunity to make money? It just seems completely crazy to me.
The answer has been the same for a few weeks. They aren't for sale, and most likely won't be.

Talked to a Nike rep today (Nike is a client) who said they will be sold, but she didn't have a timeline. Said there are some things on the OSU end that need to be worked out (didn't clarify).
Great. Cause I was going to lose my mind if they didnt. Need to have that jersey in the collection. Thanks for keeping us posted!

Will do if I hear anything. We work specifically with their distribution team, so I'm hoping I'll get a chance to ask them for more info in a couple weeks. The most curious thing to me was her reference to their being some details with OSU that needed worked out. I'm curious as to what that means. This is just my opinion, but I wonder if that means something more permanent with the jerseys is being set.
He shold probably update in a new thread though so that we have the latest... and don't forget the monster that pops up on page two!
OSU is trying to get a good estimate on how many they will be able to sell. My cousin is a purchaser with Nike out west and an OSU grad. She already has one :)

I guess that's the details Nike and OSU are working out then. Well, that should be easy enough.
By the way, what number did she get? Also, have a pic? They always look just slightly different as the fit is different than the game ones.
You could have had a game-worn #2 jersey in your wardrobe by Sunday morning, in prior years.

these are going to be the permanent jerseys people, if not these some sort of slightly altered version, im sure that is what is surrounding the distribution talks of these jerseys. They have plans to have new permanent jerseys and that is what is holding up the sale of these uni's. that term urban "renewal" carries some weight, this is a period of change for osu, same at psu, they're rumored to have new jerseys in 2013, they already started putting names on the backs

Any update on this? I've never heard from any retailer that they will be available.
