The replay of the REAL "Game of the Century" on the B10 Network? It's undoubtedly one of the greatest games I've ever seen, but seeing it is also a little bittersweet. This was really the pinnacle of the halcyon years under Jim Tressel; Buckeye fans were flying high and on top of the college football world. Little did we know what disaster lied just a few short weeks ahead. This was also the beginning of the current decade of so-called "SEC dominance". It's funny hearing Kirk and Brent talk about why the country DIDN'T want to see a rematch in the NC Game that year, because apparently those same reasons didn't apply when pertaining to last year's sh!t-fest of a NC game.

I just watched the "Game of the Century" and what a game that was to watch again. For me the biggest play of that game (and there was alot of big plays) was when Teddy recovered the onside kick to hand the ball to Buckeye offense. In that game felt more comfortable with the offense ending the game than the deffense.

Yeah, agreed. I think the two biggest plays for me were Beanie's spinning 50+ yard TD run, followed by Troy's beautiful play-action deep ball to Ginn. I STILL get goosebumps when I see those plays, and I've seen them hundreds of times.

One of my favorite moments was Pittman's run... More because you could year Brent Musberger say TD when he was like 25 yds out still!
I agree, there are still goosebumps even though I've seen that whole game so many times since then. The PA fake, Beanie's run, the "drive of Gonzalez" after them saying he hasn't been involved, and the dart to Robiskie with the stork pose at the front pylon. Love it!!!
That happened a lot that year with him and Ted Ginn would be 30 yards to go and he would say TD because no one would catch him
Awesome game. Those excuses about why there shouldn't be a rematch didn't apply to the SEC last year did they? That is one of the things that has irked me about it! Regardless great game.
And, what's even worse, if Notre Dame chokes tomorrow, there will be ANOTHER all-SEC NC game. Makes me want to vomit. Oh well, I guess they better enjoy it now, because Urban has our boys poised and ready to dominate CFB over the next decade!

Even if ND loses it's not garaunteed to be an all SEC national championship game. If Florida State beats Florida than Oregon will play in the National Championship if ND loses. It would be SEC champion vs Oregon.
Was the most fun ive ever had tailgating/barhopping and def the most people ive seen in a few mile radius in my life.
