Man, I HAVE to root for the Irish now. Dangit KState and Oregon. Ruin a perfectly good chance at a non-SEC year. I don't know which I dislike more, ND being relevent again or SEC winning. Do we have other options?
Bama/Oregon would be interesting due to the trouble Saban seems to have with the uptempo spread. However, I'm afraid Bama would see success similar to what Stanford did tonight and we'd end up with yet another SEC championship. Pray for much bloodletting in that southern conference of conferences between now and then!

Oregon lost in OT to the team that basically beat Notre Dame. If they beat Oregon State and UCLA, who are currently 16 and 17 currently in the BCS and should move up after tonight, they should still be there. I can't see a team like Florida, South Carolina make it against Georgia/Alabama when they can't even win their division, let alone conference.
FSU is going to beat FL next week. *If* ND loses to USC, things get real messy. Bama vs. Georgia in SEC champ game. Winner would play either LSU or Oregon in the BCS champ game (assuming Oregon can wins it's last two tough games). If Oregon drops one somewhere and LSU beats Bama/Georgia in BCS champ game, OSU could feasibly win AP championship.
In short, I'm a Seminoles, Trojans (bleck) and Beavers fan for at least a week, and potentially an LSU fan come January.
All this assumes we beat that one team we play next week. Can't remember their name or mascot...
I don't see how LSU goes to a national title game when they have 2 losses, and a 1 loss team that beat them stays home. To me the dark horse in all this is FSU. My dream scenario is that Georgia loses to Tech, then beats Bama in the SEC title game. Also, FSU will need to beat Florida. Then you still have a no SEC title game.
But if Stanford beats UCLA next week, they win the tiebreaker from Oregon for division title. Ducks are really hurting. God I can hear the Lynyrd Skynyrd 8 tracks from the SEC parties all the way to Columbus.
Best case scenario ND AND Stanford lose AND Oregon runs the table AND pray for non SEC bias in the voting. Lot of AND'S....What a mess ;-(
Simple, Georgia beats Bama and there is another one loss team from a major conference (think FSU or KSU)... they won't put in LSU over Bama who has two loses... Florida loses to FSU and there goes the SEC chance at two in it...
I think they projected K-State at #5 behind ND and the three SEC teams. If Florida loses to FSU and ND loses, Georgia and Bama play for one spot and K-State moves up to #2. The BCS seems to have been tough on Oregon and now that they lost it will really hurt them plus I can see them loosing to Oregon State anyways.
I dont see how the sec will get two teams in the NC cause bama should beat Georgia in the sec title game and no way georgia gets in with 2 loses and no other sec team gets in with one loss and didnt win there division or loose there one game to the conference winner. I think last year was a one time thing cause bamas loss was to #1 or #2 lsu.
No matter what happens this year, the Buckeyes are gonna beat LSU/Bama/Georgia/Florida next year. Have faith people this is a team of destiny that will continue its magic well into 2013!
Georgia will give bama a hard game. They have very good skill players. Bama defense is not good as people claim it is. I seen teams run on bama and Georgia has 2 very good running backs. A good qb can pick this secondary apart. Bama has played. Very easy schedule not many top 25 teams.
How do we get SEC vs SEC? Bama and Georgia play each other in the SEC title game. Don't freakin tell me that Florida all of a sudden gets in. It's bad enough that Bama got in last year when they failed to win the division that won the title game. But for a team that failed to win the division that lost the SEC title game, and lost to the division winner - that would be complete BS and I don't see that happening.
It's a mixed bag. Nobody wants to see the SEC in the title game or worse, another all-SEC title game. We may see Bama/Georgia vs. Florida. I live in Florida and those retarded Gator fans are already obnoxious as it is. But we may see Bama/Georgia vs. ND in the title game. Who do you root for? The Irish???? Root for the Irish to keep the SEC from winning again???? Good God (pun intended). I vote for not watching the game and hoping the OSU hoops team play that night.

But I swear to Baby Jesus if we get two SEC teams in the MNC Game I am throwing a kitten out of a window, you hear that voters you hold my sanity and a kittens life in your grasp.
Look at it this way: the SEC wins this year, next year we win. The completely awesome full circle-ness that comes from Urban Meyer starting the SEC dominance by crushing Ohio State comes back around as Urban Meyer ends the SEC dominance by crushing them WITH Ohio State. I'm pretty sure that is what legendary mythical tales are told about.
I hate to say it, but now I have to root for ND... Our only legitimate threat to our recruiting dominance in the region. Say what you will about TSUN, but we are 11-0. ND is 11-0 and one game away from the NC game. I just want one year away from hearing how great the $EC is. Even if it benefits ND. We can make fun of Beetface Kelly all we want, but he definitely has those kids playing football.
Anybody but Bama, will never hear about anything other than the Bama dynasty. f that!
Pay It Forward!
If that happens and the second team ends up being Florida, just shoot me.
How can you not even make it to your conference championship game but get to go to the NCG? Oh wait, Alabama did it last year. F**k.
Isn't Bama and Georgia playing each other in the SEC championship? I see Bama and Oregon.
I just cant root for the irish

alabama/georgia vs. florida for title? gawd i hope not. notre dame, cant root for them either.
If Auburn manages to beat Alabama, and ND loses, I will cry manly tears of joy. That or weep like a little girl. Whichever comes first.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

Cause I couldn't go for three
So much for not worrying about who needs too lose to whom this season...

Class of 2010.
FSU will be sitting pretty if/after they beat UF. Althought that does depend on how the recent 1 loss teams shake out in the rankings.
