Yeah he is an ass clown. How can he not get that people are just thankful to JT for what he did over a ten year period as well as the 2002 NC? Kinda obvious to me. Not to mention we ended up with Urban Meyer as the result of him not reporting players selling their personal possessions (as if that is some kind of violation, lol -- the fact that that is a violation is what's wrong with college football, give me a break).

Everyone makes a mistake, look at EVERY SINGLE PARENT, every CEO, Every president, but when it all comes down to the end, he helped bring Ohio State up THE RIGHT WAY....

I heard it all day, from our game announcer as well as from other media outlets, that Tressel's reception was ironic because he was to blame for our current situation.
While Tress could have handled things better, I never placed the blame on him. The blame clearly lies on Pryor and other former players. These players never get mentioned. I'm not positive I would have handled things any differently than Tressel did. Why does Jim Tressel take the rap on a day like today, where his accomplishments are being recognized by a grateful fanbase, and the real offenders are off the hook?
^No doubt. If Tressel is to blame for our situation, then Tressel also deserves credit for getting us Urban Meyer!
I've moved on, frankly. I don't hold grudges, Tress got us the 2002 National Championship and for that I'll always be grateful!
Wetzel is a Michigan alumnus. This is not surprising to me.
