I agree about Georgia. It would be nice to have an SEC team back on the schedule. I just want Urbz to make those SEC fans eat their words as they continue talking crap about the Buckeyes.
I live in Georgia and would have loved to see the Bucks play UGA. UGA fans talk so much smack about Ohio State and the Big10. Would have loved to shut them up.
Ohio State vs. Arizona St.- Direct flights to Phoenix and family there. Not to mention the OSU alumni chapter is large there and I love their campus. I know they are on the schedule but I would like to play them...
I'd have to go with UGA so I can go to Atlanta and visit friends then drive to Athens.
Ohio State's band SLAUGHTERED Michigan's band. If this were a football game, it would have been Florida State vs. Savannah State. - SB Nation following OSU vs. UM 2012
How bout Notre Dame again? That was a great matchup when we played them in the bowl game with AJ Hawk and Brady Quinn playing. Would like to see if we could fare better than our B1G brethern did this year.
Jim Tressel vs. Rich Rod = Urban Meyer vs. Brady Hoke
I'd love a home and home with any SEC team. Loved playing Texas and would like to see them or Oklahoma more often. USC would be great, but I'd take Oregon too. Would like to play Arizona State some too. Also Florida State and Clemson.
I know you specifically asked about back onto the schedule, but I got carried away.
I kinda wish college football would go back to more solid regional matchups during the non-conference sked. Makes it easier for fans to travel to those games. Would like to see OSU play home-and-away with West Virginia, Pitt, Notre Dame at least. Even Rutgers would be an interesting matchup from a recruiting standpoint (since we've been making inroads into NJ lately).
Would also love to see us trounce Kentucky and Louisville, and maybe Tenn.
Would love to see Florida/LSU/or Georgia. Either one of those would be absolutely perfect with me! But since you said BACK on the schedule, I'd take Georgia for sure.
I would like to see no FCS schools on our schedule.
No more than one MAC school.
The other non-conf games should be against BCS schools. Try to get one marquee game (eg., Texas, ND, USC) and fill in the rest with good/avg teams from Big 12, SEC, Pac !2, ACC, Big East.
I really want Notre Dame to fill in that missing slot next year after Vandy left. I think ND would be willing to take that deal and it would be a heck of a match up. Great for the schedule boost.
or
Louisville! Bridgewater vs Braxton would be an epic match up. Plus if they came here, I would so easily get great tickets.
An SEC team would be nice but they keep running scared. Only teams that would not be afraid of OSU is LSU, Florida or Alabama. Problem is they aren't even discussing the possibility. Shame
Sounds great and all, but that would be a BRUTAL schedule. Sure you need a tough schedule to ensure yourself a chance at the new playoff, but if you lose one non-conference game and one conference game (very possible with that schedule), you're probably left out of the discussion to begin with.
Texas, Oklahoma, VTech, and Oregon are already on the schedule now, so the games I'd like to see back on the schedule: Home & Home's with Tennessee, Georgia, Notre Dame, and a Florida school, either FSU, Miami, or Florida.
would love to see osu go up against some of the "new" powerhouses. boise state, oregon, oklahoma st, oregon st, etc. Think it would be pretty cool. I'd also love to schedule some SEC teams; imagine facing bama in 5 years? Thatd be pretty sweet. Not gonna happen, but would be sweet
Do not like facing new powerhouses because we don't get enough cred for beating them and there's a REAL chance we lose to Boise or Ok State. It's also why I don't like scheduling Cincinatti even though we sort of have to schedule UC some (Oregon would be ugly)
I would schedule 1 giant each year: Texas, Oklahoma, SC, LSU
Would love to schedule NDame for 2 or 3 home and homes
Agree with 1 MAC per year. I'd make it an Ohio MAC and play Miami more than the others.
Rotating Pitt/W Virginia/Cinci and maybe Louisville
Regionally advantageous BCS Midtiers: Maryland, Syracuse, MC, VA Tech
I do agree that the schedule would be a tough one, but i think if they where to try one like that every 5 years it would stop the ? of you have a weak schedule or you do not play anybudy.
Texas would be the series I'd like to see again. Notre Dame would be awesome too. It just means more when blue bloods are playing eachother. A game that I would like to see would be a matchup up with Bama.
I would love to see Texas become tOSU 2nd rival. They should be on the schedule every year. I'd add Oregon to that, but I don't think Kelly will be there much longer.
I'd also like to see Georgia, and ND added every once in awhile. Shutting SEC and ND fans up is always fun.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Would love to see an OSU game at Rutgers for us fans in the NYC/NJ area...or even a Kickoff Classic in the MetLife Stadium (kinda like the one against Miami, but this time we wouldn't have Austin Moherman starting as our QB).
Two ppl already stole mine but ND and USC all the way!

I think any teams in a top tier conference woud look good on our schedule, even teams like Baylor and Va-Tech simply because they have national recognition as bing in a good conference would be winnable games but not cupcakes.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
Would love to see Home and home with Texas, ND, USC, Oklahoma for the next two years, then would not mind playing ANY time in the nation. I thought Meyer will be runing on full cylinders with his own recruits and fully installed system.
Florida State, to help with recruiting in the Southeast. Notre Dame, to help with local recruiting. Texas, to help Mack Brown retire. USC, to help Kiffen get fired. LSU, so once a year the Buckeyes play in my backyard

I would also i like to see us get a shoot at USC again with Urban calling the game.
I agree about Georgia. It would be nice to have an SEC team back on the schedule. I just want Urbz to make those SEC fans eat their words as they continue talking crap about the Buckeyes.

Home and home with Florida, USC, and Ala-F'n-Bama. Let's F'n Go! We started this SEC bull let's end it.
edit/ (threw in usc for revenge I know they are not sec)
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
How bout Notre Dame again? That was a great matchup when we played them in the bowl game with AJ Hawk and Brady Quinn playing. Would like to see if we could fare better than our B1G brethern did this year.

Tennessee for sure.

I'd love to see one SEC team (Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina) and one team where we are doing heavy recruiting (Texas, Florida State?).
The first to shut up the SEC, and the second to help get more attention from recruits.
I was looking forward to the Knoxville trip against Tennessee, I would also like to see USC, ND, LSU, and W. Va. on the sched.
I want to see USC on the schedule at least once out of every 4 years. The SEC can kiss my ass. Haven't played Florida State in a long time.
Agree with @BuckeyeTrapped... I remember those ND games in '95, '96. That game in Columbus was unbelieveable! Eddie was such a beast in that game...
Pitt ! --- for Marky May
also, between the hedges @ Georgia would be sweet
How about this for a year schedule.
Kentucky
@Pitt
Georiga
Rutgers
@MSU
@Ill.
BYE week
@Neb.
Indy.
Penn ST.
@Pur.
Wis.
@TSUN
Run the table on this schedule and I know there is no way we do not get in the 4 team play off. what you guys think.
Would love to see Florida/LSU/or Georgia. Either one of those would be absolutely perfect with me! But since you said BACK on the schedule, I'd take Georgia for sure.

I wouldnt mind seeing Boise St on our schedule.
If I could upvote this a million times, I would.
I've always liked this 1987 schedule, with 3 solid non-conference games.
West Virginia
Oregon
at LSU
at Illiniois
Indiana
at Purdue
Minnesota
Michigan State
at Wisconsin
Iowa
at Michigan
I also follow Florida state I think a home and home would be awesome but da bucks always come first
Ohio State vs USC and/or UCLA - Home & Home!
I really want Notre Dame to fill in that missing slot next year after Vandy left. I think ND would be willing to take that deal and it would be a heck of a match up. Great for the schedule boost.

What I wouldn't give to play Notre Dame every year...want to say that you're "back"? Try playing the Big Ten's marquee team on an annual basis.
I would love to see Texas become tOSU 2nd rival. They should be on the schedule every year. I'd add Oregon to that, but I don't think Kelly will be there much longer.

The 2012 National Champions.
Home and Home for night games with LSU would be pretty cool. 2 insane atmospheres would be a lot of fun to watch.
Would love for the Georgia home and home to be rescheduled!

I want USC, Oregon, LSU, or Alabama in late November when its 25 degrees and windy
Notre dame and cincinnati. It would help some with recruiting.
I think any teams in a top tier conference woud look good on our schedule, even teams like Baylor and Va-Tech simply because they have national recognition as bing in a good conference would be winnable games but not cupcakes.

@ Boise. They always go elsewhere to play. Be nice to knock them off at home and not have to hear any BCS talk out of them.
