First Urban Era Game

Taking dad to the Illinois game this weekend for the first game of the Urban Era. Any things that I need to check out pre-game? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. And as always, Go Bucks!

I always enjoy going to the Hangover Easy then heading over and doing some tailgaiting before the game starts. Hangover Easy has good breakfast and they also serve beer, including $1 draft PBR's. If you are looking to see the Skull Session and the players walk to the 'shoe, I believe you need to get there 2.5 hours before kickoff.

Dude, skull Session is a MUST. I took my GF for the first time against CAL, and it was amazing. She loved it, I loved it, hell the family in front of me loved it. Gets the chills going and gets you really pumped. Other than that, I just walk around the tailgates and check out the shops/stands that get erected on gameday, some cool/fun stuff there. But you can never go wrong at a bucks game man... Enjoy!!!

Thank you both for the insight. Coming up from NC for the game, so I hope it will be a fun one. My wife and I came last year for the Wisconsin game, but didn't do much except Skull Session, so wanted to know if there was anything new and exciting. Appreciate it.

Personally I'm a big fan of the walk especially since Urban has changed it. The Rope has been moved from the edge of the sidewalk to the middle. Urban leads the players through the line giving high fives and handshakes. Its a great experience to see the team up close before going in the Shoe.
