Espn pays 470 million a year for the playoffs

Maybe Espn will be smart this time and show the games on Abc. Last year bowl games on Espn had terrible ratings.

TBH, as much as I dislike ESPN, I prefer their college football coverage to the other major networks'. Unless we get stuck we Mowins again -_-

I will still never understand how no one has questioned ESPiN as a monopoly. That evil empire wields too much power and influence esp in amateur sports.

Behind closed doors ESPN will definitely have something to say about who makes the final four. If a team like Ohio St. and a team that has a small tv audience are in contention for the final spot in the playoff you know ESPN is going to do what it has to do to get the team with the larger tv audience in.

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
