Dymonte Gone?

Hmmmm, that's interesting. We've been hearing for months how Dymonte wasn't going to be flipping and how he was all UM. I wish there was some more info to go with the tweet to see the validity to it. I don't want to be skeptical about it, but I think I will be until we see some stronger information regarding a possible decommitment.

As for Vonn Bell, I'm not sure that's over with. He's a talent that I don't think you let go. He still has a visit that he is to make I believe. And with Dooley likely out and a little uncertainty around who they may hire (speculation only at this point), that would be a prime opportunity for us to create a gap between us and the Vols. Dooley out doesn't mean we're a given, but I think it helps our chances more.

wow...i would be utterly shocked if this was the case. Behind Shane Morris, i figured he would be the most solidified recruit of that class...

I am not a scout member so I can not see anything more but I was as surprised as you guys! lets see how this plays out, less talent in Michigan the better but @steensn could be right about the ploy to get more paid readers.

I mean I just don't see why Dymonte would leave at this point...you guys know I was on the Dymonte flipping to OSU train earlier in 2012, but admitted over the summer it wasn't happening...would be the biggest shock this recruiting season...also OSU in good shape with Vonn Bell---all depends what happens with Tennessee's coaching situation

Well, the only thing I can guess from that preview is something about "Offense." maybea chance to play offense for OSU too? Two way? I watched him against Minerva last year and I wasn't overly impressed with him on offense but who knows. I mean, I wouldn't be upset if he did flip ;) but I can't see this being any more than a subscription ploy.

for what it is worth, everyone else on the board is making him sound semi-trollish or has had these kinda predictions before.

I'd rather have Vonn Bell anyways :) regardless of whether Dymonte decommits from UM or not. Just think Bell is the better player.

That being said, if we can somehow flip him and we can't get Bell, then I'd take him. I doubt he will decommit though.

I don't think he's going to flip at this point...wouldn't make sense besides tTUN isn't doing what many orginally thought they would (as far as their record is concerned). They're still ranked...for now;-)

I know this kid is rated at one of the best overall players in Ohio, but I just don't see it. Don't get me wrong, he is a great player, but I got to see him play twice this year, The first game of the year against Poland Seminary and the playoff game against Poland last week, where Poland absolutely dominated Marlington. I guess what im saying is that if he would happen to flip, I cant see him being a starter on D for at least a couple years. Seems like a lot of people on this board believe he is going to come in and start right away and be the stud safety we need. This is just from what i have seen in two games from him, and his performance in Division 3. If you cant dominate a game in D3, there is no way in hell you come in and be a stud from day one at Ohio State. Just my overall thoughts.
