Rampant speculation is that Derek Dooley was fired following the UT loss to Missouri. Not so apparently. Or at least according to him.

Tenn still can go to a bowl game. David hart will wait till the season is over. Dooley is owed 5 million over 3 years. They could let Dooley coach the bowl game. Tenn hires a new head coach and he recruits. The only problem is most of the names I have heard will be in bowl games.

Another potential problem for Tennessee is that Arkansas and Auburn (more than likely) will also have open head coaching positions available and will be potentially going after the same candidates.

Does Dooley get canned tomorrow after the embarrassment at Vandy, or do they wait until after next week's game? Even a meaningless victory against bottom-dweller Kentucky can't mean anything.

Dooley will be go no bowl game. First 3 straight losing seasons since 1911. What fans are upset is Dooley sec career record. There 0-7 in sec this year first 2 year they started 0-5.

There an article in Friday the Tennessean news paper about John Gruden.

The real question is: Does this swing Vonn Bell to our camp? He's gotta be watching this dumpster fire in Knoxville and wondering 'Do I want my college experience to be this, or undefeated seasons?'

Vandy went off last night. I love vandy actually, my second fav team. Being that I live on the hard streets of murfreesboro tn( right outside Nashville )
