One of the top offensive linemen in the class of 2014, Demetrius Knox has picked Texas over Ohio State, Alabama, and TCU. This is not a surprise as Knox has long said he wants to play with good friend RB/FB Daniel Gresham, who committed to UT a few months back.
I do not think this one is over and won't be surprised if Knox ends up somewhere else besides Texas. It would be nice if the Buckeyes could land the big lineman, but there are many other candidates worthy of donning the scarlet and gray and plenty of time until Signing Day in 2014.
Not overly shocked by this...and I imagine not many people are. It was nice holding out hope there for a bit, but oh well. Best of luck to him. If we can change his mind down the road somehow, great, but there are lot of other OL out there that we're after and now we can focus on them.
