Today he tweeted, in responce to someone asking if he would announce at his school, "nope a certain fan base is going to be upset so I can't announce it at school"
Which fanbase would that be? Certainly not Ohio State, because he goes to school in Texas. Again, he could be messing with us, because he's a clever kid that doesn't want to give anything away, but this gives warrant to keep an aye on the situation, at least.

Oddly, that was my thought when the presentation was cancelled. It reminded me of the mass chaos that would've insued if Stefon Diggs had selected Ohio State in College Park. I think he may just be trolling Ohio State fans however.

He is scheduled to announce today, but not a big public ceremony, as had been previously planned.

I've heard quite a few people say that he likes to troll/mess with his followers, so I honestly wouldn't read into anything he tweets personally.
Two of the writers here at 11W and two at OZone said they were pretty sure he was all Texas, so I'm not going to get my hopes up lol. He's tweeted just as much Pro-Texas as he has Pro-OSU lately.
I would agree that he is all Texas. I would be shocked if he chose OSU. Elated, but shocked.

As a 2014 kid and seeing how much stuff he puts on twitter and being known to troll no matter where he announces today what would you honestly put the percentage of him committing to that school 15 months later?

Everyone is saying Texas, but his conduct seems to be screaming OSU. It could just be a smoke screen.. He also complained that his Monday is going to suck. He said OSU-TTUN is the best rivalry when someone told him it was Texas/Tech. We'll see.
I'm thinking it's going to be Texas too, but we'll see. It doesn't make sense that he is announcing a year out and states that "a certain fanbase will be upset" if he announces at his school, and it not be for Texas. He would receive grief for an entire year if he chose the good guys IMO. Trying to play it out, I guess. Announcement at 4 PM central BTW.

Key is, even if he goes and commits to Texas (a team that just lost to TCU and might lose their coach), it's not over by any means.
Even if he chooses Texas, I see this as an OSU Texas battle up until signing day. If Texas has another mediocre year next year and Urban has guys in his ear all year long, he could very well end up at OSU.
That being said, I see him choosing Texas today and most likely ending up in Texas. Just offering up multiple ideas.

I agree with this... Mack Brown was questioning whether he was the guy to get the job done a couple of years ago. I see this one going until NSD 2014.
Everyone here in Austin takes it for granted that Knox will commit to Texas. I think he is trolling Buckeye fans hard. Shame on him, but kids will be kids.
You guys are absolutely right on that. It depends a little on the individual, but rarely these days do you see a year-long commitment stick. Especially when they really haven't exercised all of their official visits, when coaching jobs are in flux, etc.
I can still have a little hope :) hell, If the Browns can beat the steelers and make my weekend complete, then I think there is a chance we land him, albeit small. :)

Just a thought. I know what a fan he was of Tressel. Do you think it's possible that he saw how the fans appreciated and cheered for JT when they announced him along with the 02 team after everything that happened and that could help sway him back to OSU? Prob reading too much into that. Hopefully this class gets its first member today!
