I am sure some have seen the article Adam Rittenberg over at ESPN posted, about Injury updates: if not here it is.
"Wisconsin could be without its top defensive playmaker against Ohio State as junior linebacker Chris Borland could miss the game with a hamstring injury. Borland, who sustained the injury last week against Indiana, isn't running at full speed but will test the hamstring in pregame warm-ups."

That could be a huge loss for there defense, as it would give our backs a better shot at breaking big plays. Hes a pretty solid linebacker for the badgers and a leader.

yea man, he is a legit backer. I remember seeing Boren light him up last year though... Beautiful, hope I can see that happen again, provided that Boren is able to lead block or take a hand-off up the gut. Either way, if true, huge loss for that D
Even if Borland does play, you don't want to be trying to corral Braxton Miller with only one good wheel.

Hope he plays. I want to beat them with their best on the field.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
@ Crusher
Agreed, but even if he doesn't play, I have a feeling the margin of victory will quell any questions...

I for one would really like it if he didn't play. The simple fact is, if he doesn't play, our chances of winning go up. And a win is all I care about, no matter who plays or who doesn't.
I have a lot if respect for that kid as I remember watching him in high school. Wish he was a buckeye instead of a badger but Wisconsin seems to have a pipeline at his high school. Just glad it is nothing serious but it is a huge loss for wisky.
Probably the best linebacker in the conference, running would be a lot easier without him.
@crusher... I agree 100%. I don't want there to be any potential excuses, regardless of outcome
Tom Crean listens to Nickelback...
Let him play..it ain't gonna matter with the road grader that stands along side miller in the back field.. He is gonna wish he did use the hamstring as an excuse..
Chris from Achboship Alter in Kettering ohio. For a small they produce good football players.
... Announced on BTN that Borland is expected to start

Update: Borland not in uniform, won't play
You never like to see that, but again, I know there have been teams licking their chops to see our dinged up LB crew take the field.
Disappointing... Would have liked to have him on the field. I guess you can't trust the BTN pre game show, lol

That could've just been from what the assumption was, based on the staff. Like Hoke and co., Bielema and his staff might just be the type that doesn't give injury updates until the game starts
He is not the type of player that can contain Braxton anyways
