How close is miller to Cornelius Green 2,066 rushing yards for a quarterback. Miller has to be close to Art SChlichter rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.

Miller is only at 1166 yards, so nowhere near Green. He has 13 rushing TDs though which ties Art i believe
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
1166 is this year. I think he means career. He has to be close for the career total.
I believe he is talking about cumlative stats not season stats. According to OSU website he had 715 rushing yards last year, so he has 1881 yards rushing for his career. He has 20 career rushing TD's also
TP has the record with 2164
Looks like he could break it this year...
Braxton will break a bunch of records before he is done.
O H I O is the Buckeye State
I believe that Braxton will pass all Buckeye Rushing records by next year and will have a chance at the passing records if we can get some better targets for him and he settles down in his passing.
it would be tough needs 283 yards in 2 games, thats around 141 Yds a game. No matter if he gets it this year or next he is going to shatter that record he will end up somewhere in the range of 3500-4000 career rushing yards, he will be one of the top rusher in OSU history.
@ Triv - Miller is the first QB at OSU to rush for 1k yards in a single season. Greene's 2066 yards is his career total.
@ OSU - So far Miller's racked up 1881 yards. So he's got a pretty decent chance of shattering Greene's record in only two seasons. And as Triv has mentioned, he's already tied Art's record and will probably break it next game.
I could see Braxton passing Eddie to be 2nd all time, Eddie had 3,768 Yds, I think he has a real shot at that. I actually change my prediction on Millers career rushing I think he geta passed 4k easy he would only need to rush for 1k his junior and senior season to be well over 4k, no one will ever catch archie though his record is safe.
My bad on that, total brain fart.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
I dont think Braxton rush's for 1000 yrds after this season, I beleive his passing #s go up but rushing #'s go down

It's sick. OSU certainly is no "Quarterback-U." But we've had some good ones (Schlichter, T-smith, Pryor...). And to think Brax is already set to beat records in his sophomore year?! Awesome. Noteworthy: Although not many QB's start their freshman year at OSU (I think TP was the first?), Braxton DID share a significant amount of time with Bauserman last year, so his numbers could have been even better last year....not to mention the ANEMIC passing offense from last year. Braxton Miller is special and I'm so glad for him (and US) that he's got real O-line and QB coaches!
@xtreme his rushing attempts may go down but yards probably won't be affected too much. Meyers offense is predicated on the QB as a running threat, if he develops into a much better passer then he will probably gain more yards when he does run because defenses will be keying on the pass.
I don't believe TP rushing yards for 2010 season are counted. We forfeited 13 games that seaon 1-13. Acoring to Ohio state 2012 football media guide. Cornelius Greene is listed at 20 place on the all time rushing yards. TP is no where on the list.
braxton i think will end up being able to throw as good as troy but will always rush for 500 yards or more in his last two seasons, troy almost completely cut rushing the ball out of his game senior year, dont see that with braxton, urban meyer and the power spread game
Speaking of statistics, I'm pretty sure Brax is Urban's first 1000 yard rusher... ever. Could be wrong about that though. Pretty amazing when you think about all that talent. I just pray he stays healthy because after looking at year 1 to year 2, there's no doubt he'll continue to improve if he gets the playing time.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
Just read on Dayton Daily News Braxton has 27 touchdowns this season 13 rushing and 14 passing. The 27 happens to be 4 from tying the record for a season. The was set by Bobby Hoying and Troy Smith with 31 touchdowns.
