Auburn was pretty sweet that year though w/ Campbell at QB and Cadillac and Ronnie Brown at RB, Dansby was a beast at LB and I think thats when they had Carlos Rogers at CB too who was good
Hawaii also ran the table in 2007, only to run into a buzz saw in Georgia in the '08 Orange Bowl. Boise also ran the table in '06 (the memorable '07 Fiesta Bowl vs. Oklahoma) and '09 ('10 Fiesta Bowl vs. an undefeated TCU squad). TCU ran the table in 2010, beating Wisconsin the '11 Rose Bowl.
UC and Auburn
I remember one year when someone f***ed up and had #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3 in the BCS. That was stupid in all levels.

Some would argure that Auburn getting left out in the cold that year started the whole, "SEC SEC SEC" circle jerk.

Pretty sure that Oklahoma State was left out last year, but it could have been that everyone had 1 loss aside from Bama

Yeah Oklahoma St lost to Iowa State last year. Made Paul Rhoads proud.
Utah was left out that year, but weren't in a BCS conference. Urban's last year there.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Ok St lost to our very own Tom Herman's Iowa State :)
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
