After watching Kansas State again and seeing Barker play again last night. I believe that is who Barker could be compared to. Not the rusher like Miller but big and strong enough to be effective but his arm and accuracy comparable to Klein.

Nice compairison, I love Miller but every game you fear something bad is gonna happen to him. I think a big mobile guy is the perfect fit for this offense i.e. tebow or klein. People keep wondering who's gonna play the "percy harvin role" in our offense but Miller is already that guy. You can have a big qb who can use his feet to get the job done when he needs too and still have the plays Miller makes from a different position, hopefully guys like Jalin Marshall and Zeke Elliot in the future.

At first I thought you meant Storm. wheeww... but Urban really really wants DeShawn Watson. Agreed though Barker is pretty vanilla just like Kline. He makes plays gets the job done has stats but doesn't turn 1 yrd runs into highlights.

Klein is a WR turned qb. Dont think barker has the same skill set
I like Watson over any other QB in next years class, but if he sticks w/ Clemson then obviously that'll open up some doors.
Same skill set? Barker I would guess is 6'4" 235. Stronger looking than Klein with about same speed. Barker sees the field well and can deliver. Alot like Klein.
Way...I saw Barker's tape for this year and would have to agree with you. He's a big guy and strong for a QB (I like him better then Henderson). I like Barker with DeShone Kizer or William Crest to be the 2, yes I said 2 QBs in the 2014 class. I don't know for sure if Meyer thinks Braxton's coming back after next year.

Regardless of whether or not he thinks Braxton will be gone (unless he improves by leaps and bounds throwing the football he most definitely won't be going anywhere) he needs QBs for the future not just next year.
Braxton Miller will be at OSU for 4 years. No offense, but thinking otherwise is delusion.
Also, 2 highly recruited QB's won't commit to the same school. OSU will get one and then a "sleeper".
It's not delusional if he gets a Heisman next year and we play in a National Title game. I could see him leaving also after his JR. year if he keeps running as much as he is bc he's going to get dinged up. It's not like I think he's ready for the NFL...I'm just saying I've heard nothing to say either way that he's staying...or leaving early. Pure speculation...

but what position would he play in the pros. He wouldn't be ready to be QB and I haven't heard people discuss moving him. He could win every award in the world and unless his arm gets a lot better, he will be a 4 year player. Getting dinged up is less of a big deal for a QB since the good ones don't even need to move.
I dont see him being an NFL QB, but I also do not see him putting up the resistance to change positions like TP did.
Braxton would have to immensely improve as a passer to have a chance at getting drafted after his Jr year. I don't see any possible way he leaves early. The guy is a 4 year player. I really want Barker to get an offer and commit to the Buckeyes, but fear it won't happen. Don't count UK out if they get Petrino as a coach. I would think if that were to happen Timmons and Barker could both end up at UK when all is said and done.
i really like barker but if watson is who the staff wants then hopefully we get him. id be more concerned if these guys were 13 commits but they arent. lets see them get to some more camps and give the staff some more time to decide who they like

Gotta trust in the staff whoever gets offered (would really like to see them offer soon, though). But coach Mick will surely do wonders with whoever we get... Just want that first '14 recruit to drop so we can start the avalanche of commits there.
