4 to 5 receiver sets vs split backs

I know we want to run the spread offense and that often means 4-5 receiver sets and several sets with an empty back field, but with our weakness at the reciever position and an inconsistant to weak passing game, why don't keep playing to our strenghts? Did anyone else notice the success we had with the 2 back set when they both served as lead blockers for Braxton? He followed them around the corner with one taking on a linebacker and the other blew up the cheating safety. We went away from it when it was still working and tried to run Braxton with an empty back field when it wasn't fooling Wisky. they just brought more players to the line than we could block and Braxton was toast.. This was probably the least amount of success we've had making 2nd half adjustment and we STILL won. It might really be destiny?

The play that drove me nuts was when they lined up 3 wr's out on the left side and then had all 3 of them run streaks right next to each other.

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

^i saw that too. Same thing ran through my head. It just seemed like when we got into WIS territory that we had a weird play on first down that killed the drive. Hopefully we saved the offense for next week! go bucksss!
