On his 247 profile (linked below), watch his highlight film. Leave comments what you think about it.
I really like his film. he had me very impressed within the first 3 minutes. The kid can read the QB, plug up the holes, wrap up and tackle, play from sideline to sideline. He seems like an amazing prospect.
he dosnt have an OSU offer, but why? Does any of the staff members or anyone w/some info on him know why he was never offered?
We have problems at LB & Michael seems like he could come straight in and play. A very underrated prospect IMO.
Wish we would offer & see what his interest is.
The Kid just plays like a monster

Based on what little I've seen, it seems like he doesn't possess elite speed, and that seems to be one of the qualities Coach Meyer is looking for from his LBs. Also, watching his highlights from the Miami Nike Football Training Camp, he seems to get owned by blockers.
where did yuo see the video of Miami Nike Football Traning Camp?

The NFTC video was on his ESPN profile. It's a short video, though.
I watched it & I dont think he looked that bad. he didnt appear slow to me.
When the one on ones come on, He blew by that 1st kid. 2nd kid, he had beat till the kid grabbed him by the neck, third kid owned him. I think you kind of exaggerated a bit w/ "he seems to get owned by blockers."

I didn't say he appeared slow; I said he didn't seem to possess elite speed. Obviously, I have no idea what the staff looks for when evaluating players, but I'm guessing this guy may just be a step slower than what they really want. His scouting report on his ESPN profile also points out a few possible issues. I have no idea. I was merely trying to provide some feedback for your thread.
I appreciate all the info. Just providing opinions like you did. sorry lol. didnt mean to come on as a prick. thanks for the info though. much appreciated.

apparently the OSU staff is very well aware of the kid, & he has shut his recruitment down. is 100% commited to Notre Dame & will not even listen to OSU due to his commitment & late interest.

Bucknut, where did you hear that? Just curious. Regardless, I have a feeling we'll end up with another quality LB or two in this class.
one of my friends brought this kids info to Pantoni yesterday. Pantoni gave him the info and I posted the feedback.

You don't just offer every guy who has good film, or OSU would send out offers to 50 LBers a year. I don't fully understand the committable vs. non committable offer, since that woudl seem to allow for that, but that isn't how it works.
Still IMO we are looking for undersized LBers who can cover in space. Less the 6'3'' 230 and more the 6'2'' 210 variety. Then we have more safety type players on the field who can tackle in space and hopefully still effectively play the run
