Mine as well. Garbage. And not just the linebackers. I didnt even see anybody getting pressure. Having one weak unit is not enough of an excuse for a performance like that.
Some of the teams in the early '80s were shredded regularly (so much so that none other than Nick Saban was fired off Earle Bruce's staff).
But this team basically has no Big Ten caliber linebackers or safeties, and seems allergic to the idea of making big plays.

I can't remember one as bad as this...it's really sad to see a 45-27 lead with 13:53 on the clock...and give up a 22 point 4th quarter to Indiana bc we played either prevent or 2-3 men deep....just sad to me. Never was there a blitz package....CB or S blitz. Hell a blitz in general! That tells me it's time for a change...I hope it does Meyer too IMHO.

You all may be forgetting that Boren was recruited as a LB. As for moving him there last night, I have no problem with that. If he can fill a need and add some leadership, go for it. Many teams have to move players from their 'natural' position to a spot where they can help the team.
The 2011 defense was 19th nationally in total defense. The current one is 69th. Let's not confuse Walrusball with what happens on the other side of scrimmage.
