Sad to hear. I would assume that Danny O'Brien is back in as starter for the rest of the season.

Stave was playing a great game too before he got injured: 9/11, 127 yards and a TD
This makes the Leaders Division race even more interesting. If Wisky gets upset next week at IU, we could see a 6-6 Wisky team in the B1G championship game. Nooooooooo!!!!!!
No indiana would be in the championship if they win out
All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
That would be too weird if IU gets in there
O H I O is the Buckeye State
Even if IU beats Wisky next week, I don't think they can win out and go to the B1G championship game. I just don't think they have the talent to win against Iowa and then at PSU and at Purdue.
Either way, the Leaders Division representative's record is going to underwhelming.
@ ATX
That would be awesome. While I would like Nebraska to win, I wouldn't mind seeing Bielema back into the Rose Bowl and get beat again for a 3rd year in a row. I really hate that guy.
I'm just cheering for the weirdest possible outcome, so I hope Wisconsin goes 6-6, wins the Big Ten Championship game and goes to the Rose Bowl at 7-6 to lose for a 3rd straight time. I imagine the game and the atmosphere would lose some of its luster for Wisconsin after 3 straight trips too.
Random question: Has any team ever finished a season 7-7?
That is a dang good questions, VHX7. I highly doubt it, since the extra game (conference championship game) is something recent in college football.
However, I know that there is one and only one team that once finished a season at 14-0!
That could be a real possibility depending on how long Denard is out for TSUN. They just aren't the same team without him at QB.
Yes there are two Buckeyes in Ann arbor on this site!
@VHX7
The only team I can think of that came close to finishing 7-7 is last season's UCLA team. They finished the regular season 6-6, went to the PAC-12 Championship due to USC being on sanction, and proceeded to lose to Oregon. They went into their bowl game against Illinois with a 6-7 record (first bowl-eligible team with a losing record, courtesy of a special NCAA wavier), but ended up losing and ending with a 6-8 final record.
@ATXBUCKNUT
Not to be a debby-downer, but the 14-0 season has been accomplished 3 times since 2002 (2009 Boise State, 2009 Alabama, and 2010 Auburn). OSU will always have the distinction of being the first team to do it though!
Too bad, I was pretty happy for him as he seemed to be Whisky's guy. I always like it when backups win the jobs when nobody game them a shot out of camp, nice story. They were a pretty good team with him but a one dimensional mediocre team now.
I'm just thrilled that Michigan State broke Wisky's home win streak... They can't think 'We can't be beat here' when we stroll into town. Plus I think our defense can eat them up, especially after last night's performance.
@ VXH7-
4 teams went 7-7 in 2002: Iowa State, Nebraska, Cincinnati and New Mexico

This is to bad I kinda liked the freshman and you guys are right that is terrible that Indiana now has a shot.
Looks more and more likely that the Buckeyes will be headed into The Game 11-0. Exciting stuff. I think IU definitely can win out. Penn State may struggle to win after last night's game. Last night was their bowl game, championship, and conference title all wrapped up into 1. They sold out their only game all year, the crowd was more electric than it has been all year. They players gave it their best shot and came up WAY short. I wouldn't be surprised to see PSU drop way off after last night's loss. Iowa and Purdue stink, I could see IU pulling it off.
