Anyone making the trip to Happy Valley? I am in section NL, which I believe is very close to the Ohio State section, but more importantly, are we organizing anything (aside from the alumni Buckeye Bash) before hand at a bar or tailgate?

If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
Just watch out for this...funny how OSU fans get labeled as most obnoxious or arrogant fans. What do you call a PSU fan then...???

Tough times never last, tough people do
free advice for anyone going: guard your cornhole.
I'll be there with my dad. We're in section WCU. Humble, if possible, we'd love to link up with you all. It'd be nice to have other scarlet & grey clad folks to hang out with.
Good luck to any and all who make the trip. Please come home with a win!
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
Get ready to deal with the most intolerable people on the planet. I've been twice and they're a miserable people, Penn State fans. Either you're going to have to listen to them rant about how they've been jobbed out of so many national championships because everyone's jealous of them, them talk about how much they hate Ohio State, or they'll just throw things at you and come try to fight you. This year I would imagine they're going to be pretty rowdy. I went in '05 when they had their "comeback from total obscurity" year and people were just walking up to me and trying to fight me all day. Granted, in my younger days I wasn't one to back down from talking shit to people but at one point I was seperated from my OSU travelers and in the middle of a mob just like the one from the video above and they had encircled me and were shoving me and throwing beer at me and one guy, I swear, was trying to kill me until a cop had to come drag me out of the mess and make everyone disperse. This was just right out in the middle of the tailgate area. There's no group of fans more deserving of having football taken away from them than Penn State fans. That's the only reason I had any support for the death penalty.
Well said Bolt. My friends made the trip there in 09 when we won and had similar stores. I look forward to hearing the horror stories about the trips people took went. Never heard one good thing about the place.

Yea I have been twice before, and I agree, the students are pretty rough, drunk, aggressive and rowdy, because most of them are from the NY/NJ and Philly area (thats just how we are around these parts...lol)...
After spending 5 years at Ohio State I can see how this would be a shock to most midwesterners, however growing up around here, its no different than a Jets home game...lol
Just to note though, its specifically the students, most alums (above 27 years old) are pretty friendly and will welcome you in the tailgates...
Just think of how the fans looked during the 2009 game (we win 24-7). That makes me happy when I see PSU fans throwing beer cans at OSU fans on YouTube. Here's to disappointing them again this year!!
I think my dad and I are in NH.
Real fans stay for Carmen.
I was in New Hampshire once. Lovely state. Amirite?
