They have been talking about the pizza guy getting fired. They agree the employee was completely out of line. They also put out the true story.

@Hodge - The fact was that the Fickells were called by the manager after he found out through rumor. The Fickells did not call the manager. They stated what happened to the manager and stated it wasn't a big deal and they did not want the guy to lose his job.
Man, this is bad publicity for pizza. It really breaks my heart, because I love pizza too. But with these blockbuster infractions, I expect a 2 year Box Ban at least. And let's not think of all the fines and lost tips. This delivery guy was way out of line.
Why hasn't ESPiN picked up on this yet? It really puts things in perspective when people value football over the economy and jobs are being lost because of this stuff! First Big Bird gets canned, now this. Brutal.

They discussed other sports in addition to Buckeye football, which was nice. Talked about the MLB post-season and Girardi's decision to pinch hit for A-Rod in the 9th inning, Urban's minor league baseball days, his former QB's in the NFL (Alex Smith and Tim Tebow), and of course the Buckeyes. One tidbit I really enjoyed was on how he keeps the team motivated. Said he tells the players that some day they will want to bring their kids back to OSU and be able to tell them that their dad was a part of something great. Said the guys who play on bad teams don't come back very often, because they don't really have anything to be proud of.
I think we need to call the Dan Patrick Show something other than the DP Show....
In a related note the pizza guy thing is getting blown way out of proportion.
