It's been reported that Ohio State has submitted a video clip of the "eye gouging incident" this past week. Now it is up to the B1G offices if they want to do anything about it.

Kind of misleading...don't really think Urban "fired back" as much as it is standard practice for the program to submit a number of plays that they believe are questionable from the previous game.
Let's not make something out of nothing, Coach Meyer is trying to win football games not "fire back" at anyone
Submitting a video of a dirty play is firing back. A chance to teach the young man right from wrong. Apparently going straight to Dumbtonio is not an option most likely because of all the intent to injure type of plays MSU were exhibiting. Herbie has become awful. He use to be my favorite but he showed us on Saturday he has turned on us. The popular thing to do I guess.
Why does he do a radio show in Columbus if he has turned on OSU? He hasn't turned, he just doesn't want to be accused of being biased toward OSU.

everyone needs to lay off Herbie...he's doing his job, folks
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I'm so tired of people giving Herbie shit for trying to be unbiased. I agree that he goes in the opposite direction, but he is a Buckeye at heart. People always jump on Desmond for saying anything pro Michigan, you don't think other fan bases would do the same to Herbie? He is as successful as he is because of his ability to ignore personal feelings/experiences. If he were pro Buckeye at ESPN he would be doing the stupid little things that Desmond does. Herbie has professionalism, end of story.

Hail, should probably stay away from that hot button issue.
From the videos I've seen, Big Hank seems to be trying to get his fingers into the other guys mask as well. May have been "well he's doing it so I will too" but doesn't look great for us either
I seriously don't get the hate towards herbie too, I've always enjoyed his commentating. Guy is obviously a buckeye fan but he does his job the way he's supposed to, unbiased. People like Dr. Lou and Mark May should follow his lead.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
@Waycraken - what did he do Saturday to make you say that? I'm asking sincerely as I didn't notice anything during the broadcast. I saw some of Game Day where he was dumping on the B1G & said it all started (the B1G sucking) back in the "2006 bowl games" - but rightly so IMO. That is about the time that the B1G started falling behind. He also said UFM was recruiting nationally & that OSU is doing what they need to to get back to prominence....
I'm not a huge Herbie fan but he's not always wrong either. My major issue in the past was when he dropped OSU in the polls after they beat Arkansas...
The one thing I did want to reach through the TV and slap him for this weekend was a little period where he said "making plays in space" About 20 times in one sentence & using the word "speed" non stop, but that's par for the course. Anyway - just wondering if I missed something.

I've never understood the dislike toward Musberger either, I always thought he was more positive toward OSU than anything.
Really it is OSU's fault that the SEC is "dominating." The BIG was 2-1 against the SEC in 2006, but we all know which game the BIG lost
I personally like Herbie and value his opinions. He travels all over America and gets to see insiide all the big time programs. I think he brings a lot of insight to the games. People that don't like him are usually to narrow minded to see the big picture with his job. Love his radio show on Mondays.

I'm with you Buckeye, I've always liked Musberger. You can name pretty much any announcer not named Spielman and people will say he sucks or hates Ohio State though.
Mark May sucks - that is all
Greg Jennings "I put my team on my back"
Nothing will come of this. Sadly, if you watch the video, you can see big hank trying to get his hands inside the helmet to gouge the same guy that he got gouged by.
HOLY BUCKEYE!!!! Brent Musburger called that - and I will forever love him for it...
Edit: for future reference & just in case anyone interested would like to know, I will be up voting any & all comments in which Mark May is insulted. I feel that it is important for the Buckeye community to show their disdain for this disgusting man whenever possible. Thank you.

Agreed, Mark May does suck!

I agree with most of the comments about Herbie being unbiased and sometimes it seems as if he is to a fault. That said I bet if you asked 100 college football fans not from Ohio only about 20% could tell you he played for the Bucks. IMO that means he is doing his job. I wish the rest of the media were that unbiased.
As for the reason I can't stand Musberger, it's pretty simple. He adds no value to the telecast. Problems in list form, no particular order:
1) He's late with almost every observation
2) He can't tell the difference between 3rd and 5 and 3rd and 6 or 4. He does this all the time even though the status bar on the screen (which I'm sure he has access to) says the correct down and distance
3) You can tell he has never played because he seems to be regurgitating buzz words he has heard elsewhere and shoe-horning them into the commentary where they don't fit.
4) He has less knowledge of the sport that probably 50% of the people on this board.
I could go on forever, but in short he is simply annoying with his lack of knowledge. His voice is the only thing keeping him employed. I can't imagine how annoying it must be for Herbie to keep quiet when he makes stupid comments. The 10 year statute of limitations on "Holy Buckeye" has been exceeded.
I would say Musburgers age is beginning to show, but I still enjoy his commentary....
And not to be a jackass or anything but Holy Buckeye occured Nov. 9 2002 so the statute is not up quite yet :)
