We all know there were tons of recruits at this game, making a big win even bigger. The stadium was absolutely electric throughout most of the game which is always great. I can't imagine a player like Quick witnessing that and then choosing to go to a smaller program like Louisville.
So...does anyone have a favorite quote from a recruit describing the atmosphere that they want to share?

I'm wondering if some of these in state guys (Munger, Gibson, and Worley) who I feel like they want to commit have been told to hold off until the coaching staff sees what some of their national recruits (Bell, Quick, Johnson) decisions are.
Quick has to be thinking very, very hard about his decision after last night. Heck, even the guys who weren't there (Bell) have to be impressed even with seeing it on TV. That was electric and the team put a whoopin on a pretty good opponent.

Hmm, you'd think most recruits stayed till Sunday morning, no?

Tony Gerdeman said it best on Twitter... He said if Quick doesn't have OSU as his #1 after last night then we better pick a different battle. I totally agree with him. L'ville will never match last night's game or atmosphere.
I may be a bit excited after the game last night (which first-hand, the crowd could easily compete with the best, and probably shame, 90% of SEC crowds). But I would love to have any 2014 recruits w/ a commitable offer commit to the scarlet and grey and get the ball rolling... Especially if a guy like Marcelys Jones has a commitable offer after reading what he had to say. I'm so curious to see inside of Urban's recruiting 'war room,' and we've heard recruits say the coaches tell them OSU is only looking for the best 2 or 3 position players nationally to fill the spots. We have to be realistic that some of those guys will commit elsewhere, and Urban has an eye for underrated recruits... But I think we can all see if Alabama starts feeling comfortable at the top, they're about to be shocked w/ what Urban can do :)

@ Bucks4evr I really don't think Gibson has a committable offer right now. He was suppose to announce in the mid to late summer which everyone expected OSU, but I believe was told to hold off from the staff due to grades or a test score. Now I don't know whether it was actually grades/ test score or they are trying to get a read on these national recruits. Personally I would take him in a heartbeat we need his speed
@Otrain - agree w/ u here on both posts. I feel that Meyer wants to see what goes on w/ these national kids will do b4 letting these instate locks commit.

Talked to someone today that would know and OSU is definitely in the game for Quick.
Thats what ive been reading from some posters on other sites that got the chance to chit chat with James' father that got that vibe from him. Didnt want to get really excited quite yet till i heard something from someone more in the know. Thanks Derek I think we are in for quite the ride over the remaining months till signing day!
