I don't have a problem with fans from other schools coming here looking for conversation or wanting to get our opinions, share ideas ect ect. I think thats great actually because it helps grow everyones' understanding of the game, but doing so under the disguise of a disgruntled buckeye fan is tricky and detestable. There is no place for that here. Then to go back to thier home blog and talk smack is kindergarden level-and that's being generous.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.

Good catch man. That's really F'd up. It's one thing to go on other forums and make constructive comments. It's another to throw your team, fan base, and head coach under the bus. For no reason, on top of that. BME should be banned.
The funny part about his post on Huskerboard is that a lot of people there were saying the same thing we are. "If you don't like it, stop it".

Actually guys he is supposedly a buckeye fan talking to the husker fans and apologizing for our horrible behavior. I guess I should have been nicer when I said he is an idiot for comparing Urban to Bielema. He just doesn't get that we don't have so much a problem with his point as much as we have a problem with him comparing the two. He must be really ignorant because even if the score was rung up it still doesn't even come close to the score being ran up by Wisconsin.
Not to mention the great Tom Osbourne was notorious for running up the score. He beat down opponents. So to me, no one should have an issue!

I rewatched the game today and noticed that Braxton's last pass came midway through the 3rd. We ran the rest of the game..Nebraska knew what was coming and couldnt stop it, the only crime here is that we didn't get to 70.

We would have scored 70 if Carlos Hyde hadn't fumbled that run. I keep thinking that we really did give Nebraska some payback and spotted them their first points so we could show them how good our offense was and blow past them like they did us last year...

Nebraska's job is to stop the Ohio State offense from scoring points, not the Ohio State Offense's job from stopping Ohio State from scoring points. This thread is lame.

BME should ask Nebraska fans how much they celebrated the 73-7 pasting they gave to Idaho State. I know I live in Nebraska and they were whooping and cheering and praising the Mighty Huskers for that win. I say if you can't take it don't dish it out. Some games your the top of the food chain and others you are the main course.
I love the fact that Urban wants to go out there and hang 100 on teams. Killer spirit. The exact spirit that gets these kids up to play in big games and get them prepped for CHAMPIONSHIPS.
I liked Pete Carrol for the same reason. He wanted to put as many points on the board as he could in football games. You play from the start whistle to the end whistle. They are not there to step around peoples feelings. They are there to win football games in impressive fashion. Come playoff time, games where ohio st is able to do that to teams like Nebraska is going to sway in a big way when the selection committee is putting together a top 4. I bet you down the road if Ohio st. was to "take it easy" and "show some class" and we were to get shunned from the playoffs that BME would be on this board in an uproar that we werent in. Get over it dude.

I didnt like him when USC was beating us but as a coach him going out there and showcasing his kids the way he did, I respected that. I dont have a problem with coaches sending their kids out there to hang 100 on teams. Doesnt bother me one bit.

Well maybe after STEENSN'S enlightening links showing how Nebraska ran the score up in the game when they were up 35-0 after the first quarter they should have just kneeled down the rest of the way as to not look like a**holes according to BME. My what a glorious game it would have been after that. I've talked to a few Nebraska fans and when they entered the conference last year I was told that they thought this was a soft conference and were confident they would dominate for years to come. Guess they were wrong
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
I have almost no patience for complaints about "running up the score," and that likewise goes for non-Buckeye situations like all those idiots who whined when Alabama scored that late TD (also on the ground) against Texas in the national title game 3 seasons back. Don't like the other team scoring? Make a play. Yeah, Hyde and Miller were in there in the final minutes, but we had our third string back in on the previous drive, and Nebraska couldn't stop him either.
That people shouldn't misrepresent themselves at 11W goes without saying.

I love scoring when you can. The goal of the game is to score the most points you can in 60 minutes and stop the other team from scoring for 60 minutes. Whoever does both the best wins... score as many points as you can. I think there is strategy where you put in second string to save injuries on the first team.
