Don't trust scout for anything, the fact that this kid has been talking of other schools for so long usually indicates he is not "solid"
Wasn't he the one who said why wouldn't he take an OV to osu? "It's free"

I recall Stevens' coach talking to him after the decommitment, and there may have been a misunderstanding what a decommitment really means. Regardless, I still believe tOSU is very high on his list, and we'll see where we stand after his OV.
The consensus with the experts seems to be that he's a soft commit, and favors OSU should be cut free. Sort of a Kyle Dodson scenario, where a kid chooses whether or not to stay committed later on
FWIW: From what the kid's high school coach was saying last week, he made it sound like Stevens thought that he had to de-commit in order to take visits to other schools. The kid seemed confused by the whole thing.
