Being Nebraska week I was reminded of what to me was the play of the game last year...probably even Bolls best playcall of the year! The tightend play-action screen to Stoneburner which resulted in a touchdown.
Knowing how awful the offense was all of last season, that play blows my mind.

I was just thinking about that play as well. It was definately the best thing Bollman did all year. I was in disbelief when it happened. Really makes you wonder what he was thinking every other instance, if he was capable of drawing that up and calling it at the right time. I guess Walruses are just puzzling creatures. Good Riddance.
Used in the sugar bowl. Influenced by the vest. Walrus credit=0
Fundamentals are a crutch for the talentless.
Is he still on the current staff?
Wow, I'll have to revisit the Sugar Bowl game, don't remember that play. Figures though.
Downvotes for asking a question? Maybe I'm the only one who is tired of continually kicking the proverbial dead horse here...
When I think of that play I just chalk it up to..."Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then"
Bollman being Bollman...interestingly enough he had a knack for better play-calling in the marquee games...either that or he completely handed over offensive play-calling to Tress (or Fickell) in the marquee matchups. One of the two.

Yea I think it was used to Fragel in the Sugar for a big gain.
