WVU is going to lose, I have two questions.
1. What is the over/under of couch fires in Morgantown? My guess is 29.
2. Do you think this helps Braxton in the Heisman race?

1. Over
2. Helps a bit, but I think Geno Smith is still the frontrunner. He wasn't great today, but he wasn't THAT bad either. He wasn't the one who lost the game for WVU, it was their defense.
I think you underestimate what Morgantown is capable of. Way over.
This doesn't hurt his Heisman chances at all. No picks no pain.
Morgantown must have lots of furniture stores to keep up with the rate they're going in that town burning couches. 29 sound realistic, I expect atleast 1 flipped car. Unfortunately, Gino Smith is still the guy to beat. But WVU did lose 49-14, that ruins their national championship hopes. He only threw for 1 TD & posted his lowest completion percentage of the season. But everyone is still gonna look at the fact that he still hasn't threw any interceptions. Maybe Oklahoma will beat him up pretty good & take him out of the Heisman race.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
Over/Under on couches - 49. One for each point that WV's defense gave up.
Does it help Braxton in the Heisman race? It closes the gap a little bit, but Geno is going to get a break from the committee because of how bad WV's defense is.
Class of 2010.
1. 34 and one/two flipped cars
2. I think it just gives Braxton more opportunity to outshine Geno. But Geno is still the clear favorite
I don't think it will help Braxton in the voting (although I personally think it should because WVU was #5 and they lost by 35 to an unranked team and they only were able to score 14 points). However, I see them dropping a few more games so who knows. Just be patient and hope Braxton survives it through to the end, he will be a finalist at the least.
2. I would think it at least makes the Heisman race a toss-up (between Smith, Klein and Brax). However, with Brax for some reason I get the feeling that no matter what he does, we won't be able to overcome the Big1G hate and the "you can't give it to someone on a team that's on probation" stigma that's strong this year. I hope I'm wrong, but I keep hearing a lot of demeaning of his importance/talent from national analysts (ala the "He's just a RB" comments from Brian Griese today).
