Simply Below Average

We are simply a team that is below average almost across the board, unit by unit. On D, versus the run and the pass, rushing the QB and especially at linebacker play, below average. On offense the stats look good for our run game but most of that comes from the QB position and we are definately a below average passing team...the O-line might be decent but I think Braxton's running makes them look a little better than what they are, and production from the running backs is really probably average as well. The only sure area where we not below average is at QB AND (that's still a big area of concern because we don't throw well). YIKES!!!

I actually just ran the numbers really quick. Suprisingly, strictly statistically speaking, all of the remaining undefeated teams are above average. Shocking, I know. It could be your expectations are out of synch with the reality of situation the team is currently in.

But seriously guy, step away from the ledge.

Definitely not an elite team..I'd say top 25-30 as far as talent goes. We are lucky to have the easiest schedule since 2007 in the worst big ten maybe ever. At least they're winning though.

We're inconsistent, have major holes on defense, and have some special teams trouble, but below average? There are how many teams in the Bowl subdivision? 117? You think we're around 50? You think we're 6th best or worse of the 12 B1G teams?

we're probably not a top ten team, but we're definitely top 20. If you've watched some of the other teams outside the top 10 all year, I don't see how you can't believe that. When the offense clicks, that alone would beat all but maybe 7 or 8 teams. We're not great, but nowhere near as bad as you're suggesting.
