Admittedly I am not a big "recruiting" kind of fan. But my best friend's son is graduating this year and I have spent a few days putting together a DVD for him. He is a defensive end out of Beavercreek High School.
What is considered "proper" use of his material? For example, is putting it up on YouTube permissible? What about asking 11w members to check it out and give their thoughts?
Just looking for some guidelines from our recruiting experts here.

Many athletes post their highlight films on youtube, and it is perfectly ok for you to ask friends/11w members to check it out.

I have heard time and time again that kids need a profile at scoutingohio.com.. take that for what it's worth, I'm not very familiar with the site.
Just make sure waycracken loves your video and the ENTIRE world will know who the recruit is and he will also provide real time statistical updates every second of each game. If you can not impress WAYCRACKEN, then all hope is lost...

Yeah if you make a profile on scoutingohio that will definitely help. It might be a little late for this but have him go to as many camps as possible just to get his name out there. The more exposure the better chance he will have.

I didn't put the video together, that was done by his father using hudl.com, I'm just doing the DVD copies and the "uploading" (He's not very computer savvy)

He's been getting a lot of interest. Mostly MAC schools, but a little buzz form Florida. He's also getting mail often from Wisconsin.

Video looked pretty good. You should publish his ht wt times and statistics since it is sometimes hard to evaluate. He got up and knocked down several passes. How tall is he?

@CCollins0325 Nah, I'm finishing up my senior year at OSU now, then spending another 4 years here for medical school. How about yourself? And yup, works fine, guess my comp was just being weird. You could also have a screen identifying the opponent before a series of highlights, the GWOC has some stiff competition, gives a better idea of what he's going up against?
