I've been to Ohio State, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, and Michigan. Hopefully before I die I can make it to all of the B1G stadiums. Of the ones I've seen, I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Illinois. I was there in 2002 for the OT game vs. OSU. Place was rocking. Of places I haven't visited, I'd most like to see Nebraska or Wisconsin, heard good things about both atmospheres
I haven't been to many venues, but I can say that Iowa was a blast. The campus is really nice and the stadium atmosphere is sweet. Those Iowans have nothing else to cheer for, I guess.
Wisconsin hands down because their band really gets the students fired up and their student section is in it the entire game. They single a lot of old song too like Sweet Caroline, Swingtown, Build me up Buttercup. In addition they sing newer rap songs too.
Iowa is pretty nice.

Ive been to every one except Wisconsin and now Nebraska and I think my favorite was Iowa. Went in 06 and the fans were cool and the pregame/tailgating was great. A bonus for the ushers for letting me stay in the stadium after discovering we had bought fake tickets from a scalper.
Outside of the Shoe, I've been to the Big House(2007, 2009), Spartan Stadium (2006, 2012), Ross-Aide (Purdue, 2007), Ryan Field (Northwestern, 2008), and Beaver Stadium (Penn Stadium, 2007).
My favroite one of thise stadiums: Spartan Stadium
My least favorite: Ryan Field
Best game: toss up between the 2009 M*ch*g*n game and getting the O-H-I-O cheer around the stadium or shutting up Penn State fans and their White Out in 2007.
Wisconsin has a great atmosphere but I had a really poor experience with their fans. The best I have been to in terms of both atmosphere and hospitality was Iowa.
I really want to go to a Nebraska game. They have such a good reputation.
Been to Indiana, Illinois, UofM, MSU, OSU and Northwestern. I would say UofM (which I've seen OSU and MSU there) was a pretty great atmosphere, but seats are cramped, restrooms are awful, it's old, but historic. OSU is great, but I'm biased obiviously. MSU is old and out of date, but not historic as UofM, but I take it over most stadiums cuz it's still B1G stadium with 75k+ fans. Illinois was a cool stadium, but damn is it windy there always. Indiana sucked. Northwestern felt like a big high school stadium.

I like PSU for the atmosphere inside the stadium itself.
However, for their fans outside the stadium I'd probably put them as my least favorite. They all somewhere in their mind believe PSU has won 29 national championships but were robbed out of all of them. When they're not trying to pick fights with you, throwing bags of piss at the band, throwing eggs at you, sucker punching you from behind, genuinely angrily threatening you because of the color you're wearing...they're bitching and moaning about what they call "mythical national championships". This is where they claim that they've been robbed out of all these national titles but they celebrate them as mythical national titles...to which I respond, "yeah, that's cool and all...but we've got seven real ones."
I also have been to Iowa and I have to see I LOVED it. I went the year they absolutely destroyed Ohio State too. I got pissed off in the 3rd quarter and left. I was hammered of course and wandering the streets of Iowa City. People were partying in yards and would give me shots or beers as I was walking around. 2 hours later I finally found my way back to where we were tailgating
The pregame tailgate was a blast. The people we stayed with lived in Iowa. They had an old school bus they painted up, they blared the fight song, they had a "bathroom" on the bus that consisted of a funnel with tubing that went through a hole the punched in the floor of the bus. Think Beer Bong that you pee in lol. We got to the game and they had a beer pong table, cornhole boards and a 2 story beer bong(not the one they pee in) with a divider so you can race. I had to cut myself off for a couple ours that day AT 10:00AM.
The fans were awesome and other than some banter along with a little cussing out the Ohio State drunk who was wandering around their town lost, I had a great time. I'd go back any day.

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite

Penn State - Because it makes me feel good to know the Shoe is just that much better.
Not really even close.

All of'em...if they're full of folks whose hopes and dreams have been dashed, after sixty-minutes with the Buckeyes!
^^^ Northwestern feels like you are at a MAC game, without a doubt
Iowa/Nebraska..the edge to 'Brasky...knowledgeable..respectful fans..and that place is insane at night.
I dont always root for college athletics, but when i do (which is most of the time) I choose THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

This is pretty easy for me. I've been to the Big House, Ohio Stadium, Indiana, Northwestern so far. Going to Purdue on Saturday and PSU next October.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
