*First issue, last week comments were made by me following the Nebraska game about our last TD and about our fans. Those comments were out of frustration and in disagreement with what happened on the last TD. No, I'm not a traitor, troll or loser; I'm an alumnus. If anyone in the 11W community was offended by my actions I am truly sorry for being ill-manner and not understanding.
*What a game yesterday. Lots of mix emotions and comments based on what's been said after the game. Its ubiquitous with most fans that some things needs to change on defense. I'm not exactly sure how Meyer didn't see that two point conversion play in the 4th quarter as IU ran the same thing against Northwestern. Good playing call tough.
*Blogger predictions are up (http://buckeyelounge.blogspot.com) with the closest people to the game score being Cplunk and captkilloy (ESPN user).
* Optomistic outlook for Indiana: I know most people are questioning our defense after their performance but look at the other side of page. What does this game say about Indiana? Given that the B1G is having its recent struggles with all of its teams, I think Indiana is one of the few teams that could possibly be headed in the right direction for next year and won't take to long to get there. If IU started winning their OOC games in dominate fashion, picked up better recruits and won mores games in the B1G (especially against the Legends), this could add some depth to the Leaders division and the conference that we will need. Given the new format where teams have to play good opponents, if Wilsons future teams start to prove they are better it could be a win-win situation for the conference. They aren't the Oklahoma, V Tech or Texas type of teams we play but having a stroger IU team wouldn't be too bad. Could IU be the new Northwestern?
*I didn't want to start another fourm but could anyone post what they saw from Zach Boren playing LB for us. According to ESPN, Boren is likely to play the position again for the next couple of games while Sabino is out. http://espn.go.com/colleges/osu/football/story/_/id/8504781/ohio-state-b...
* I haven't really watched much of Purdue games this week to say anything about them but lets hope the team doesn't find itself in the same predicament last year after getting past IU then facing Purdue the week after. Best part about being 7-0 is a chance to go 8-0.
*Cleveland Browns get their first win; shout out to the Dawg Pound...
*AMC the Walking Dead Season 3 starts tonight 9 pm ET for any fans out there of the show.

First off, OSU ran the ball into the endzone, they didn't pass it. I have no problem with that.
Secondly, Purdue is a lot more downhill than Indiana and we are fit to match up with both them and PSU. So I think there will be more Defensive plays this week out of our Bucks. I also think OSU is going to get better on D towards the end of the season. face it, they are going to get tired of this.

I think we'll win quite handily. Purdue is going on the road following a loss on their most important game of the year while we're at home playing to avenge last year's loss and reassert ourselves after a rough last week.

Purdue has scored 48, 54, and 51 points against, respectively, EKU, Marshall, and EMU. Against teams that aren't complete crap mich, Wiscy, and ND they have scored, respectively, 13, 14, and 17. I'll buy into our D one more time and assume that wounded pride leads them to a better than EKU effort. Our offense rolls again, and Buckeyes win 49-20.

b) i agree about IU. You hear their name and say 'man they just suck' but if they get better and are competing for wins, hey good for them and good for the conference.
c) did anybody else watch the ravens-cowboys game? I feel dez bryant is to Dallas what Greg Little is to Cleveland, only more potential and out of shape. and a crybaby.
d) I only hope for a 50 spot on purdon't and wreaking havoc in their backfield all day. AND PLAY TIL THE WHISTLE BLOWS DAMNIT. frustrating to see them mail it in the last two minutes.

We give up 20 this week. Even with a focused and improved defensive effort, the square pegs on this team won't fit into the round hole which is Urban Meyer's defense.
