Does anyone have any good or bad stories to share about their gameday visit to Happy Valley? I have been out there once and will never go again, I just want to see if others feel the same after a visit.

"Anything less than flagrant is just playing grab ass!"
^^^ Someone was asking what the definition of a troll was. This sums it up if this was in Happy Valley :P
You can kill a fly with your slipper or a cannon. Either way, the fly dies. -Ramzy
This was in 2009 to college gameday...pre joe paterno death and pre jerry Sandusky scandal...well pre people knowing about Jerry Sandusky scandal at least.

We weren't 9-0 in 2009 though, I do remember him pooping his pants, wasn't that in 2002 or 2006?
Is the Joe Poo story real? I've always heard that - just wondering if it's for real or something someone said due to his age...

I'm pretty sure that picture is from 2007.
Poison - There is video evidence, which I will try to find, of Joe Pa running off the field prior to halftime by himself, and even the broadcasters notice him leaving the field, and then when he comes back out after halftime, he's wearing a different pair of pants.
If I remember correctly, he was sick at the time (or at least that was the story). If so, my guess is that he made a run for the locker room and didn't get there in time. I just know if I had those kind of symptoms, I wouldn't want to be that far from the loo.
@Tennessee - OK, close enough for me. That opens the door for some nicknames: Joe Poo, Pooturdno, etc... I wouldn't want to saddle a man with a nickname unless he had earned it rightfully.
edit: jokes

Here it is.
Notice Bonnie Bernstein even mentions the word "runs" in the video. Although not exactly about JoePa's illness, it's fitting.
Regardless of when the pic was taken it's funny and I can't believe ppl down voted it. Common MAN! I would never visit PSU unless the tickets were free...same as tTUN. So sorry, no stories.

People are saying that I'm an alcoholic, and that's not true, because I only drink when I work, and I'm a workaholic.

I was at that game. It was very noticable that Joe ran off the field in the 2nd quarter That was the fastest we had ever seen him move in the last 20 years. Both my wife and I guessed what was going on. The stories came out after the game that he had some type of stomach flu.
Reminds me of this:

I'm one of the signs creators and it was in 2007 not 2009.
I posted this in another thread. I was there and had a great time. The Penn State fans were very welcoming. Even after the game people were cool. I'd definately go back
Joepa was running like he had a load in his pants too. I have no desire to make fun of the guy for that but I have seen the poopy pants run and that was one if I ever saw it.
I remember the Joe Pa run to the locker room...it happened right in front of me because I believe I was in 27A for that game.
I'm glad to hear that PSU fans were much nicer this year. I think they are beginning to get it - it took some time, but it's happening. That was some atmosphere there last Saturday night, particularly while we had a goose egg on the scoreboard.
Class of 2010.
