Right when I saw him go down I thought it was a concussion. His demeanor on the sideline did nothing to make me think otherwise. I hope he's ok.

My guess is concussion too, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's something even worse.

He looked OUT of it.

It didn't look like it was something he was going to be able to shake off in a couple of days and come back next weekend. Best of luck to Braxton and hope nothing is too wrong. I'm happy for Guiton though. Hope the team comes together and believes in themselves more after this game.

let's hope it's a concussion and not neck injury. it looked like he wasn't able to even lift his head. get well soon Braxton!

Any news worse than BM being out the rest of the season, which I can live with, will make this the single worst game I have watched since the 2007 NC game. Actually, it might make it worse.

I keep thinking something internal like collapsed lung. If it was neck they would not of moved him

By the way he was hunched over and laboring for each breath, I think it may be a compressed or fractured upper vertebrae. Let's hope not, because that if much worse than the most severe concussion... could alter his ability to throw for the rest of his career.

The way his head bounced off the field, I thought it was a concussion. But seeing him move hunched over the way he was (and the fact that they took him to the hospital) makes me think (complete guess here obviously) that he broke his collar bone or a vertebrae in his neck (as Woody just mentioned). If he broke his collar bone or vertebrae in his neck, I'd imagine he's out for the season.

I still have a hard time believing it could be a neck or spine thing because they are so cautious with those that he wouldn't have left the field on anything but a gurney.

Does anyone know if they take players with a concussion to the hospital? I've never heard of that before, that would clear things up if it's not common procedure.
