This game looks over already and it's not even half time. Penn State's defense is good but is Iowa just a bad team in every phase? McMoxie seems to be having a career year too but they haven't really played anyone outside of Northwestern.

Ya I'm concerned about next week, primarily because our pass defense is ranked 107th in the country out of 124 teams and McMoxie completing all the short passes means our guys are going to have to tackle in space....
Just hope Brax is back and not apprehensive about making big runs from the hit today. We will need a big day from him to beat PSU at State College.

Honestly, I hope KG sees a lot of time to give us some run/pass balance. Braxton's explosiveness is great, but against PSU, we usually need to Tressellball it to pull it out. Hyde better get a lot of rest this week.
Hell, I wouldn't KG seeing a bulk of the snaps the next two weeks. We need Brax to be fresh for Wisky and scUM.
I'm not sure, a little f both maybe. Regardless, my wife and her entire family went to penn state and they will ALL be a our house to celebrate our daughter's birthday on Saturday. Please win it for the good guys, bucks! I don't want to hear them all yuck it up! Go bucks!
PSU is vanquishing demons it faced in the past by getting their first win @ Iowa in quite some time. On the other hand, Iowa offense is not that good. I wouldn't let the previous results skew you judgement because MSU had a bad offense showing and the gophers couldn't stop Iowa run. Not looking forward to happy valley.

I'm definitely concerned about the Penn State game.
And I would think Kirk Ferentz now has to be worried about his job. Iowa has oscillated between mediocre and terrible since the bowl win against GT.
I hope the offense that played Nebraska & the defense that played the last 3 minutes of Purdue shows up at PSU.

We should be concerned about every week. This is the meaty part of the schedule. Weather gets colder, games get tougher. Penn state, Wisky and Scum will all be tough. Hell Illinois might give us a headache as well.

From what I have seen this year Iowa has a decent defense but their offense is limited. Their leading rusher is a walk on.

Iowa is not good. Penn State is ripe for a beatdown. We are defensively vulnerable. Should be an interesting game next week -- we're gonna find out something about someone...

State Penn is dangerous, but their best win is over NW. I think it is some of both, but mostly Iowa is bad.

Iowa is not a very good team right now. They have No WR's that are a threat. They are basically Michigan State without the defense. Mark Weisman is the team, and the TE will make some plays here and there.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
