Throw in Penn State LB Mauti's "We're kind of in the same boat, but I think their boat is a little bit different than ours...We didn't do anything to help our football program to cheat" non-insult insult, and we might get a meaner game than we thought! Not that it wasn't already going to be a heavy-hitting game, but I love when people stir the pot.

Of course, because free tatoos give players a competitive football advantage. Tats enable players to be more intimidating. If they're getting free or discounted tats, they have more money left over to spend on young ladies. Michael Mauti is a solid football player. But, over the Summer and recently with this comment, he has made some real foolish statements to the media when it comes to this whole scandal. He is somewhat delusional if not selfish and over-emotionial. It's almost as if he thinks he & his teammates are the real victims. Michael: you're lucky your program is even playing this year, you were given the opportunity to transfer, you're playing the game you love - (for free on a scholarship you earned) in front of over a hundred thousand people still. Get a grip, man.

Up until this year, PSU didn't even know the names of their own teammates since they only had numbers on their jerseys.

Their fans were massive a-holes prior to enable-gate and remain massive a-holes post enable-gate. Most of my experiences with them were prior to said gate. They were horrible then and have done nothing to endear themselves since. Rather than admitting that any wrongdoing took place or trying to move on all they talk about is how it's all a big conspiracy because everyone is jealous of them, etc. etc.

I can't speak to it from before the scandal. I'll take your word for it. But, my comment was only in regards to expectations after the scandal of a PSU fan. It makes sense to me why they are the way they are. In fact, after what you said, it even makes more sense they are that way, because if you are already super prideful and arrogant, after controversy and embarassment, you are either even worse, or you quit. The fans that didn't give up on it, are bound to be even worse now out of sheer pride and arrogance.

I hear what you're saying, but being proud of something you have to realize when you're just causing more harm to the thing you love than actually helping it...even if you truly believe there was no wrongdoing. After Tressel was outed for lying I didn't want to see him go, but knew and accepted that he was wrong and that ultimately we'd have to move on without him for the credibility of The Ohio State University. I and most OSU fans weren't totally delusional and claiming that this was all just a big conspiracy against us and blah blah blah or totally burying our heads in the sand like pretty much every PSU fan I've ever seen has. Swallow the medicine, regardless of the taste, because there was wrong doing...and move on. The more their pride misguides them to react as they have, the less credibility as a collective group/fanbase/university institution they have nationally.
