I was particularly enthralled by this post.
Some excerpts include:
soulless #9 Buckeyes
We fell short, of course, but not by much.
A threat?
1) Immediately following the loss, I see that it's a very thin line that separates me from Harvey Updyke, the Alabama fan who (allegedly) poisoned Toomer's Trees after Auburn beat the Crimson Tide. The difference? Harvey's just a little more creative, a little less lazy than I. Consider yourself fortunate, Columbus.
And of course this comment that was somehow tied to Stoneburners TD catch:
The team that 'ain't come to play skool' snuck past the team that graduates 91% of all student athletes, and 94% of African American student athletes - 30% above the national average, and light years ahead of Emmert's two most recent universities, Washington and LSU.
(If you wonder how we compare, see this recent buckshot post)
Penn State fans are unhappy and all is right with the world!

I couldn't agree more, I was reading the BSD comments and I was looking for at LEAST one level headed fan....sadly after reading through about 400-500 comments I didn't find a single one. At least they are living up to what we all think they are anyways, the most dillusional fan base in college sports. They deserve everything they get for the next 4-6 years.
You made it through about 20x more comments than I did. They all start to bleed together after a while!

Irrationale thoughts from a passionate fan? Or just a sore loser?
We've all been there, right? It's just a matter of how irrationale and how much butt-hurt, which in this case, is a significant amount of butt-hurt.
Keep Calm and Ignore the Trolls.
I can get past "passionate" fan comments, what i couldn't get past is how they think that without the "refs" they win that game. I just think a lot of them (okay almost all) really thought they had a chance in this game (and I think even there were a lot of us on this site that thought the same) and when reality finally struck they're having a hard time dealing with it. The next four to six years are going to be rough years and I think they wanted this game so badly because they know that after this, they don't really have a shot at competiting with the "big boys" of the conference.
When the impact of the sanctions finally hits PSU, I hope Urban drops 100 on Penn State.
I think they also believe that if Urban Meyer didn't "steal away" Schutt, Williams, Spence (who I never thought was committed by the way), O'Conner, etc., they would be at Penn State.
I think they realize that State College will become Horseshoe East in the next 5 years. Not a pleasant thought for their fanbase.
It's so cute when Penn State fans reserve their finest vitriol for a school that could honestly care less about them.
It's pretty sad when an admittedly extreme fanbase like ours can step back and call Updyke an extremist ass, whilst the writers on BSD champion his initiative.
I love seeing them miserable.
If you'd like to cleanse your palate of incessant butthurt, check this post out. Homeboy gets it.
Nice find Hodge. At least there is that one guy that gets it. Hope he has many friends and can spread the gospel.
@LOUGROZA - Yeah, I mentioned it in another forum, but it seemed like the overall commentariat's response to the game was a lot more level-headed than that IQ-robbing article was. Even a lot of the comments were echoing this sentiment: "Refs blew holding calls on both sides, and we noticed because OSU was getting big plays while our offense wasn't moving."
I love how they keep saying (paraphrased) "We should have no problem winning our last five games" or "our last 5 games are fairly easy." Really? You still have Nebraska and Wisconsin. They overlooked us and may be doing it again with the rest of their schedule. Purdue and Indiana might not be a joke either (ahem...). Their only real quality win was Northwestern - am I lying?
I realize the BIG is down this year, and everyone can beat anyone, so it's hard to tell who is good (except for us - that's easy)....but cmon.
