After a game that we just won without Braxton even being in the stadium.
EDIT: Though to be fair, some of his comments are fairly accurate. Our backs and especially our receivers don't exactly strike fear in anyone, do they? His comments about Hyde and Guiton are ridiculous though.
In his last 3 games Carlos Hyde has 7 touchdowns and 387 yards rushing....
And their glory was tarnished because some little boys came forward. We don't need a comeback for them, their program means nothing more than....well..........nothing!
I am not sure I read the article the same way you did. The headline was definitely misleading, but really the article seemed to say nothing more than the fact that we do not seem to have the same quality of playmakers on offense as we have had in previous years. (excluding Braxton of course)
Now the irony of a Penn State fan pointing this out is a different matter. But overall, I thought the article pretty accurately described our offense this year.
@ Setman, That's exactly what I was thinking. I posted before actually fully reading the article, but after I did, there wasn't all that much that I actually disagreed with besides his assessment of Carlos Hyde. Does anyone honestly believe that our receivers are anything better than just average?
The title of the article made it sound like he was saying all of our backs and receivers suck, but really he is saying that they're just "OK", and I agree with him with the exception of Hyde.
It's laughable, but appearantly it's an attempt at serious journalism. I never really give Penal State much thought. Mind over matter. I don't mind, because they don't matter. Saturday isn't going to come fast enough.

I genuinely hate Penn State more than any other program (including M*ch*g*n). The Paterno worshipping culture is still present and they view themselves as the victims... Really wished they got the death penalty. Joe Paterno was a slimebag.

That said, I don't think this article is actually that wrong. Sure, Hyde is a solid back, but it's no secret that Braxton is pretty much our offense. I don't see why that matters though.

I hate PSU, probably because we seem to struggle with them in their house. I sure hope we can pull a win this weekend. I can't seem to get a good read on if we will win this one.

Oyster this whole routine about you watching every post I make is getting really old. I'll admit that I'm not as homeriffic as some on here and that I try to be farily objective, but I've also been watching OSU football before you were in your dad's sac.
After the comparison to Minnesota you just have to laugh and move on.
Penn State fans are just mad that they didn't stay independent where they could annually beat up on weak teams. Once they got into a decent conference they haven't performed that well. Oh, yeah, and there is that little child molestation issue. I hope we crush them at their house this week!

He has nearly 500 yards, and 8 TDs in the last 4 games. I'd say that he's been more than "solid" lately.

If our weapons are Minnesota-esque then what does that make the PSU weapons at Pork McGloin's disposal id be really interested to see their opinion as it will amuse me just like gladiator mice.
I haven't read the article, but I hope our guys use this as motivation to play their absolute best. At the same time, it's clear we don't have as many dangerous weapons as Coach Meyer would like to have, but equating these guys to Minnesota players is ridiculous. I didn't know Minny was 8-0...

Minnesota does the best they can and while they are going through a transition with Kill, are plagued with injuries and is starting a new QB there is no need for those comments. Minnesota doesn't recruit well because more kids differ to Wisconsin. The talent between Minnesota and OSU isn't comparable but did this loser have to bring in the Gophers with this. Moreover, they use walk on players while OSU doesn't...

The PSU mentality is disgusting to read on the ESPN boards. They spit in the face of Ohio State fans daily and act as if their shit don't stink. The gathering of PSU fans normally turns into a circle jerk pity party and if anyone comments one ounce of negativity they all go into flag mode.
