You and me have frequented the Pro Combat threads recently, Browny. I, too, think you might be right. It could go one of two ways at this point: 1) we randomly come out of the tunnel in our new unis for Wisky or scUM, or 2) there really isn't anything new (maybe a minor change like a new helmet a la MSU against scUM). Nike has been pretty low key about their marketing blitz for the pro combats this year, anyways.
I bet the big uglies are going to just love wearing horizontal stripes.

I have to say I would be a little disappointed if we don't break out some surprise "rivalry" Pro Combat uniform for the Michigan (or Wisconsin) game this year.

true, O-h kee pa. It's either going to be nothing at all or something very similar to what happened with M*ch. St. this past week. I'm just a big fan of the jerseys and i like getting them each year so i've just kept an ear to the ground. Hell, i'll be getting the camo bball jersey if it's available.
As for the Steelers wearing those..i love it. Being a ::cough:: Browns fan just makes me sit back and laugh at them. Until they beat us...again

Like the Steelers or hate the Steelers I just can't believe the'd wear something like that. It's horrible. You would think, being that they are really royalty in the NFL, they would have some input on what Nike put out. That uniform there is just horrible. If the Steelers have something like that, what is plan for the rest of the NFL?

After the NCAA basketball Unis last year I'm convinced Adidas is not capable of putting out a decent alternate uni. Those were better suited outfits for people working traffic detail, on airport ramps, or picking up garbage on the side of the road.
Looks like those crappy Meatchicken unis from last year turned horizontal.

Apparently these are Nike's interpretation of the Steelers uniforms from 1934. And I just read that they will don these not once, but twice this year, so prepare your eyes to see these in HD multiple times:

I gotta believe that if we wear the alternates against tsun they will be some kind of tribute to the 2002 team, especially with the reunion of that team scheduled for that game.
But if that is the case I doubt Nike would be satisfied with simply changing the sleeve stripes. Maybe some kind of chromed out helmet to go with it like they have been doing elsewhere.
Thoughts?
