I know that the crappy defensive play is what everyone will take from yesterday's game, but was anyone else as psyched as i was to see Meyer run the shovel option play. I loved when he ran that play with hernandez in florida and it worked to perfection with el guapo yesterday. If im not mistaken it was the first shovel option that Meyer has ran at ohio state. It was flat out awesome

I'm down with the shovel pass. It was a great call and a well designed play. Hyde took it to the HOUSE!!

Always loved that "Crazy Option" play. Kenny executed it perfectly, too. I love how it basically develops as a triple option play and how damaging it can be if everyone sets up right for the forward shovel if the guy is open. Love it.
Hyde looked fantastic on that play. He put the moves on one of IU's linebackers in the open field. Didn't think I'd ever see him juke a guy like that, but wow, that was fantastic.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
I almost feel a little bit sad for Kenny. He really has become a great backup QB at OSU, but he could start at most D-1 schools. It truly is an honor to have Kenny be our backup, but I kind of wish that he played at another school that he would be capable of starting at.
It was a thing of beauty. Apparently Coach Meyer doesn't deserve all of the credit though:
Saw that tweet from gigi too. Urbz answers to da boss!

I was surprized that was considered a "pass" for Kenny G.
yes J.MO i was also surprised. Good for kenny g though. His first td pass was off of my new favorite play.

Any time the ball leaves the QB's hands going forward is considered a pass, no? That play they run to Philly where Braxton basically deflects the hike right to Philly is a pass right?
No clue. I like that play too though. Boy that is a high percentage pass though. Pad Braxtons stats

I think it is a pass. Seemed to look very similar to the one WVU destroyed Clemson on in the Orange Bowl. I don't understand why the play is so effective. maybe Ross will cover it this week hint hint please
Need great playmakers for it to be effective. Tavon Austin=amazing playmaker. Imagine what he and Braxton could do. He would definitely boost this offense even more than it is now

It was a pass. You cant pitch it forward.
Anyone else find it funny that she called her dad Urbs?.. But I don't care who calls the plays as long as it works.
My son and I loved that TD pass, and to see it called with Kenny G in there was awesome. Love to see him come in when needed and succeed.
