This LB offer really starting to make things hard to see who else fills up the 2013 class, especially w/another LB offer out when we are already in on guys like Mitchell, McMillan, T. Johnson, Hearns & '14 Booker, Garrett, McMillan & Hampton. Meyer must really be looking hard for a LB to be able to come in and play if he is going to put out more LB offers for '13 when were in early on some top guys in '14.

I just hope we get Booker, McMillan and McMillan! I want to nickname them the lawfirm so bad!
Love The Law Firm nickname!
Kid looks good, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's more of a backup option in case the main targets don't pan out.
^thats what I thought. I wish OSU would of offered Shane Jones from Cincy Moeller who is committed to MSU. That kid is TOUGH!

I think this kid plays at the same HS as 2014 stud CB Quincy Wilson?
The recruiting guys on 24/7 and Rivals both are really high on this kid. On staff member said the big 3 in Florida should have offered this kid and he could end up being a star if OSU gets him.
This guy is extremely underated. Saw him against Trotwood. Quick and tough as nails.
His highlights look pretty good to me. He looks good in coverage, quick and can hit. Farrell tweeted that Rutgers should be bummed that tOSU discovered him...guess he thinks of Moore as a sleeper.
He looks like a sleeper. I watched most of his film on his 247 profile & i thought he could hit, tackle & cover good. Rutgers & Vandy were going to get a diamond in the rough if we didnt offer. I think we will land him as I see McMillan staying at UF. Hearns said that it would take alot for him to flip (when he meant alot, he meant ALLLOOOT! lol). I see Fisher sticking w/VTech. I could see Trey Johnson giving us a great look, but when the days over, I see him staying South.
I could see Moore being the suprise in this class.

First things first, let's see if Skai schedules an OV. I would agree he looks like a sleeper with speed and good tackling and coverage skills.
I'm guessing he might be a preferred walk on
I'm not sure they'd actually give an offer to somebody they're recruiting as a preferred walk-on.
Welp after a solid check this is an actuall offer. Weird.... This can't be good on are chances for the other stud LB'ers
High 3 stars dont take preferred walk on spots. This is the staff either hedging its bets, trying to put some pressure on the top choice guys, or offering an underrated guy.
I saw about a third of the highlights video. I stopped after he lit up someone on a punt return. Get him! If anything he will be a gem on ST!
Just fyi, Skai's team is ranked 18th in the country according to MaxPreps.com.

im thinking he's a) a backup plan and/or b) a way to create a pipeline to that school. 2015 rb Jordan Scarlett goes to the same school. he'll be a top 5 rb in his class, and be just tweeted about #ohiostatefootball
born and raised in Cleveland
Could also be a way to try to pressure Mitchell and some other LB's to pull the trigger.
I think the fact they're still offering a 2013 LB points to the fact that 1.) they aren't satisfied with what they currently have on the roster at the position (or the depth), and 2.) they need options if Mitchell and etc. say no
Whatever you think of Rivals and Mike Farrell is fine but he just tweeted that the Moore kid is a "sleeper" in this class. I think we need to have back up options if Mitchell says no and we can't flip McMillian or Trey Johnson, but going hard after 2014 LB's wouldn't hurt either.
Here is the aforementioned tweet from Farrell:
Plenty of other offers, but none from any really high profile schools. Looks like our biggest competitors at the moment are Rutgers, UCF, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest.
He's a great "back up" plan. There are some other big names we are after but he seems to have a solid upside. I love those sleeper LBers that turn into studs (we've had a couple recently).
Has an official set up for the Purdue game according to ESPN's Jared Shanker. Agree with everyone else who said he looks great.
here is a good read on the kid.

A solid 3* at a strong program who is playing well enough his senior year to get bigger names interested and possibly bump up to a 4*. Plays fast, can cover, can hit, and fits size-wise into the type of hybrid players Meyer is recruiting. Sounds like a solid offer to me.
Contrast him with McCray, who was largely nonexistent in that Trotwood game. Or, if you think it will force Mitchell's or one of the potential Florida flippers' hands at this point, think that way. Either way, smart recruiting.
Maybe I'm a pessimist, but this makes me think we are less sure about other lbs - hopefully not Mitchell
as far as the star rating goes how many camps has he attended? if he hasnt been to very many its very possible that is why his star rating is so low
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
