The tickets I got for the Michigan game are $280 a ticket. Im getting 2 which is $560. There is also a $57.87 charge fee for each ticket & a $15 fee for shipping.
So Im paying about $600 for my 2 tickets.
Can someone tell me that has been to plenty of games whether or not I am paying 2 much? They are in section 16C.
Also my second question, is the OSU-Michigan game going to be a big deal this year or any different from any other OSU-Mich game?
Thanks

Check comparable seats at stubhub.
"Anything less than flagrant is just playing grab ass!"
The most I have paid for a pair of tickets was $550 to the Penn State night game a couple of years ago (that T.P. ended w/ an interception). $300/ticket is about right for getting into this game... When I first got my tickets (30A), comparable tickets on stubhub were going around $400/ticket. Some people will tell you 'I never pay more than face value'... I say pay what they're worth to you. In answer to you second question, not only is this our 'bowl game' possibly increasing ticket demand, but we're also recognizing the 2002 national championship team at the game (they were kinda a big deal).
Dude, C deck for 600? No way. South stands tickets are still going for 200 a piece, and theres no service charge or shipping
That totally depends on the row. I scanned Stubhub, and two tickets together below row-10 are 500 or more. If you are in the nosebleeds, 600 is probably twice what you can get on Stubhub.
Most people around here are going to tell you that OSU-Mich is OSU-Mich, and that it's always big no matter what. The atmosphere at that game is the most electric in all of sports. And now that the two are going to be good and the Buckeyes have a chance to ruin Michigan's season...yeah, it's probably still worth it to go if you can.
One year, I decided I was going to "The Game" no matter what. I walked around and checked out what the scalpers were offering. I coughed up the three bills for my seat, and watched Will Allen pick off a pass in the end zone to send tOSU to Tempe. If I hadn't gone to that game I would regret it, to this day. I know there are no BCS Bowl implications on the line for this one, but maybe you'll get lucky and witness another epic battle in The Shoe.
I've seen several (varied sections) going for $200-$250 on the Dayton and Columbus Craigslist. There are also a lot of single student section seats for that or less, but they'd require a BuckID or I think you can validate them for a cost to get in without the ID.
Just make sure you're smart if you use Craigslist. I did about 12-15 ticket transactions on there between Dayton and Michigan (even sold some to people in Canada and Tennessee). I always had the seller send me a picture of the tickets in front of a clock and send them immediately just to verify that they had them in hand and weren't using a stock picture. Also, used PayPal for every transaction that I purchased tickets in case the tickets were bogus, I was protected and would get my money back. Again, just have some common sense and if you smell a rat, look elsewhere.

I always feel like if you go to the game and work scalpers/ normal people with extras you can get a decent deal. Got into the big house last year with a MC fan friend for 100 bucks a peice. Not to bad. I have had many similar experiances at the shoe.
But if you do not mind paying a premium to have the tickets and peace of mind ahead of time go for it. Sometimes its better to front the cash and get there early and party then to hassel with scalpers all day.
Also, consider the W/L record and what's at stake. If Michigan has to beat OSU to make it to Indy, ticket prices will jump. If OSU comes in undefeated, tickets will get more expensive. If OSU loses a game or two before then, prices will drop.

Unless you have a good source, you're going to shell out for tickets to Ohio State-Michigan games. I paid $275 for a pair at UM in 2005 which I thought wasn't too bad. Like Lincoln said above, you can roll the dice with scalpers, but I have tried that and it hasn't always worked given my limits (2008 when UM was 3-9 or whatever I tried to scalp a pair for under $200... no dice despite the fact everyone knew it would be a blowout win for us). But it can work.
There's always a conundrum of whether to buy early like you have, or to wait until a week or two before the game. If you wait, you might find someone that needs to unload them quick for some reason, which could help. On the other hand, hundreds may have that same idea.
I say don't worry about the deal you got. It's done, you have tickets; just go enjoy your time at the Shoe!
I would suggest waiting until a little closer to the game to buy tickets. Tickets usually come down when people are getting desperate to sell them. Craigslist usually is the cheapest place to buy, besides scalping. If you are not concerned about getting in to the game early I would recommend scalping tickets. I waited until a few minutes before kickoff & was able to get Cal tickets for $20 each. There is no way Michigan tickets will be that cheap right before kickoff (probably will be going for around face value), but they will definitely be a lot cheaper than $300.
Everyone is right, you need to look around to figure out what market price really is for C deck seats.
Personally, I think you're paying too much but if you have the money go for it and cheer some for me. I'll be at the VC for that game.

(Also, I'm not a dude)
I've never paid more than $175 per ticket for the tOSU scUM game

$60 fee per ticket, when you already paid almost 4x face value? That should be criminal.
I paid $600 per ticket, in A deck and THAT was when Michigan was #2, and OSU was #1. You could roll the dice and wait it out. If both teams continue to win, the price per ticket will go up, but if someone loses you will probably find cheaper tickets. Personally I think you are paying too much b/c I think someone will lose before the game
Way too much.
Here's the trick, if you are on Facebook. Search for the OSU Class of 2014 2015 or 2016 groups, they are flooded with students selling their tickets, and one can easily be had in the south stands for a max of about $200. I got one for a friend for $100 back in September. Will need a BuckID though
