Weis is just an idiot. You can't fix stupid. But Leach is one coach who will be honest to the point of brutality. Do his seniors deserve to be thrown under the bus publicly? No. But when a culture of losing is ingrained in a program, you have to clear the apathetic out. Every good coach does it. Ask Bowling Green and Utah. Even the current Buckeyes have dealt with this sort of necessary gut check. One word to prove it: gigglef&@$s. Still not necessary to Cut apart the seniors who are going out, though.
Beserkr29, couldn't agree more. After reading Leach's book last winter his "harsh words come as no surprise. Mike always has challenged the status quo, which is why I believe he has been successful throughout most of his career. Sometimes in order to turn a program around coaches must change the culture that has creeped into a program. Usually this requires a reality check. Some can use words like these as motivation and get better, others remain in their foggy view of reality...the latter become cancerous in the team dynamic. Leach will turn it around...Swing your sword!
Geez why doesn't Leach and Weis lay off the senior hate! These guys have probably been busting their butts for 4-5 years.
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.

Craig James knows nothing about these corpses that Mike Leach speaks of. Specifically hooker corpses. 5 of them.

I wonder if they're spending too much time with their fat little zombie girlfriends.
