I am just trying to enjoy the ride I suppose, but I will try to summarize some of my feelings.
I love the coaching staff. I hope they can stay together for a few seasons. If that happens this team will be completely loaded with talent because the group will kill on the recruiting trail.
I love the offense. Especially with the personnel that OSU has to run it. The line has been awesome. The running backs have been solid. The QB's have been great. The receivers have been good. I expect a top 20 total offense next season.
I love the youth.
I love the ingenuity.
I love that this team can win a trophy and wants to do so.
I hate the big plays the defense has given up, but..............
I love Ohio State football.
We're 8-0 with a young squad full of potential, it's a great time to be a Buckeye!

It's taken some getting used to after the Tressel-era (which I loved) but I am fully on board with the new era and look forward to B1G Championships. Everything beoynd that is icing on the cake.

Absolutely, we have much to be happy about! Despite the ups and downs of this season, pending the outcome of the TTUN game, will any of it even matter?
With the numerous recruits present and our "bowl" certainly in focus, I think that the Urban Meyer regime will really shift into gear with a win in that game. I can't wait!!!

As much as I hate what the defense is doing, I love what the Offensive line is doing. It's like I am living in a bizzaro world. Love being a Buckeye and enjoying this season. Hate being considered less of a fan for discussing the flaws on this young team.

^^ A little bit harsh but I guess you are entitled to your opinion.
@Buckeyeinannarbor.........really? the running of Braxton and Hyde alone will keep that from happening. Went real extreme with the last comment and im one of the posters on here who has been pretty critical of the defense.
Anyways, 8-0 is great. These guys just find a way to win. Plain and simple. they could have rolled over on saturday and lost by "25" but they didnt. They have done what they seem to have come accustom to, they stare adversity in the face and do what they have to do to get the W.
Offense is decent. WR's need to step up big time and catch some passes so we can limit the holding of the breath when Braxton takes off running. If these guys would start to catch, Braxton wouldnt need to run as much (thats a given).
Defense isnt great but it is getting there. They gave up a big one of the bat but for the most part they played a pretty good game. And for them to come up as big as they did in OT showed me alot.
Special teams. I like it alot more this year than I have in others. Special teams is actually pretty exciting to watch with this team. Yeah they gave up a fluke TD but it happens sometimes and if we have to punt it gets sketchy but they are an exciting group to watch.
All in all this is a young team learning something new and learning it pretty fast paced. Loving the ride we all get to be on watching these guys play even though at times it leaves me pulling my hair out sometimes. Im really going to be excited for these guys next year when we are playing 14 games instead of 12.
That sounds like a post from WolverqueeninColumbus. "Fu@&ing suck." The positives of this season far outweigh the negatives. We've had a tremendous amount of injuries this year and we've got guys stepping in, stepping up, and making plays. i.e. Kenny G and Zach. Hyde is morphing into one of the top backs in the country right before our eyes. We've got a sophomore QB that has been mentioned as a legitimate heisman candidate. Our offensive line has come together out of no where to be respectable. We've got several players mentioned on lists for All American honors. Urban Meyers has ignited an enthusiasm that had been extinguished. I could go on but I'm running late. Anyone care to tag in? Oh, by the way, WE'RE UNDEFEATED!!!

Never have heard of any team anywhere, any sport, undefeated, two thirds through their season that #@$%@# sucks. You have an interesting view of things BuckeyeinAA.
I find myself conflicted about this team as well. I love the heart. The offense has been very good at times, but also struggles for long stretches and turns the ball over way too much. The defense has been, lets face it, bad, but showed up on Saturday (perhaps one play late) and really was the untold story lost in the comeback and Kenny G music. I love the aggressiveness of the kickoff coverage pirannahs, and then they let a guy go untouched for a TD.
I am enjoying the ride, though. There are growing pains, to be sure, and I will still be surprised if we go 12-0. If we do, I will consider it one of the greatest coaching jobs I've seen.

I loved the team, program, players, coaches (even Bollman and Sic) and everything about our 6-7 season last year...
I REALLY LOVE this season. That doesn't mean I don't think there is a room for a TON of improvement on both sides (and ST) of the ball.
Like Maestro said, I love Ohio State football and I think that sometimes as a fan base, we confuse our desire to be perfect with the elation and joy of watching the team, program, and university so many of us are a part of and love so much.
So for as frustrating as this team has been at times, any time we roll into the last week of October 8-0...I'm on cloud 9

I love watching Braxton Miller play (for the most part).
I love that we have been running the ball this season.
I HATE this defense.
I hated the Indiana and Purdue games. Just so frustrating and unenjoyable to watch, overall.
I hate the number of injuries we are having to endure.

Buckeye in Ann Arbor - Your comment is correct in that we haven't beaten a single team currently ranked in the top 25. Of course we haven't played any of the teams that are ranked in the current Top 25, therefore it would be impossible for us to have beaten them.
But, we've won every game so far on the schedule, so I guess we must totally f-ing suck...

Just enjoy the ride! This is a transition year. Just keep in mind that this team will be infinitely better next year and keep in perspective that we're playing a junker schedule this year. Each and every win is just like a bonus really. Basically, as far as I'm concerned, we're playing to impress the 2014 recruits, which could be a monster class for us if the dominos start falling our way early and often.

To me this is just like every other year. Happy with one side of the ball, but frustrated with the other. This year is flip-flopped. I couldn't be happier that we have a coach that wants to move forward and play agressive offense. The D will come. Being 8-0 is wonderful and scary at the same time. At this point losing to any of the 4 left on the schedule is going to be angst inducing. Let's make it 9-0 boys!
