Fostoria, due to economy and job loss/overall people loss, now plays at the Division 4 level. Listened to part of the radio broadcast on Fostoria radio station, and the announcers were fit to be tied.

TIMMONS Needs that offer NOW. I have witnessed games where he has scored 7 touchdowns, gained 450 yds and from week to week everyone pretty much expects this super human effort. Fans from oppossing teams come and focus on Timmons as much as they do there own players. Well tonight Timmons stepped it up in a different way.
First half he had one reception for 8 yards. What he did was play every down defense and offense and being used mainly as a decoy. This strategy was not working too well so playing against the #5 team by class and #12 oveall Franklin County finally started getting the ball too him. First drive he caught 32 yd pass and a 42 yd touchdown. Later he caught another 40 yd pass and another 38 yd TD. Franklin county fell behind 52-50 with 14 seconds left. Anderson County had on side kicked the ball every other time. On this time however with 14 seconds left they decided to kick deep timmons got the ball and for the 3rd time this season (out of 3 attempts)fromhis 5 yard line broke tackles reversed the field and literally left a trail of 6 would be tacklers laying flat as he outraced the rest to the goal line. FC won 56-52
For the seson Timmons now has 37 TDs. If all he did was return kickoffs he would be worth a scholly

@Waycracken You're starting to make me a believer. But question, why do you think his offer sheet is somewhat subpar? He has an Arkansas offer, but that's pretty much it in terms of big time programs. What is holding schools back?
I'm sure when I check back tomorrow morning I will read 20 posts about Timmons playing against inferior opponents and I will feel like Bill Murry in Ground Hog Day. I just want to say that this Timmons kid is extremely impressive and I think Waycraken should start a petition to get the kid a scholly. If you get that going Waycraken I will sign it!
As for other players on the big board, Shelton Gibson was in Warren tonight and I saw he took the opening ko 75 yards for a td. I'm not sure how he did after that but Cle Hights lost 34-28 to Warren Harding.
DBIT his offer sheet is much better. Teams that have offered Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, West Vitginia, Miss State, Arkansas, South Carolina, Plus many other Lower D1s. Teams that are keeping in weekly contact OSU, USC, Alabama. Plus many more I am told is beginning to have enquires. He wants to play for the Buckeyes and doesnt lead other teams on looking for free trips, but time is running out. I was told tonight he would like to announce on his birthday. Tracy Sprinkle - (SEPTEMBER UPDATE) 35 tackles, 4 sacks, 13 hurries, 1 fumble recovery through september. 10 tackles, 1 sack, and 3 tackles for a loss 10.6.12.
Ezekial Elliot - (SEASON UPDATE) Aug 24 14-106 and 2 TD rushing, 2-72 and a TD receiving and returned a punt 62 yards for a TD. Aug 31 rushed for 157 yards and 3 TD on only 5 carries and caught an 89-yard TD pass in the first half. Sep 8 9-104 with 4 TD rushing, caught an 11-yard pass and returned a kickoff 53 yards. Sep 15 ran for 224 yards and 4 TD and added a 56-yard punt return TD. Sep 22 ran for 222 yards and 5 TD on only 12 carries and added a 65-yard punt return TD. Sep 29 rushed for 238 yards on 20 carries and had two TD's.

ryan the timmonsdator. what a game. the kickoff return touchdown run to win it was awesome. i do take issue with his coach though, he uses timmons too much as a decoy, think timmons had the ball twice in the first half, get the kid the ball in space whether it be a quick pitch or a quick flip on the edge, so he can use his talents. sure there are others on the team, but still ryan is a decoy way too much. he had 4 tackles on defense last night too. get this kid a scarlet and gray scholarship, geez.
Buckeyestu. I hear you on the amount of touches, but you see who they turn to when they need him most. That was the 3rd time when they needed him most and he delivered.
I cant fault the coach too much though because all he is doing is trying to take advantage of the extra attention Timmons receives and his team is averaging around 60 pts a game. Like you said they do have 4 other D1 caliber players on the team. Not too many schools beyond Trinity can make that claim.
There supposedly was a lot of talk on the internet boards stating they were out to do physical harm to the QB and Timmons. That team is too good to talk that crap if it is true. Hope they do not have to meet up again in playoffs early.

in todays sunday local sports newspaper section, coach peach of anderson county, has some ideas about how the voting should go for mr football player of kentucky. he says:" what can you say about timmons. i know james quick is good, but i dont see how he can be better than this young man (timmons). maybe we can have co-football player of the year in kentucky."
imo i would have to agree. would love to see quick and timmons in scarlet and gray.
